He said that on Pardon My Take which is a joke show. I wouldn't take anything anyone said to seriously there.

A joke show as in they tell sports jokes? So, Griffin was just kidding about Phoenix?carey wrote:He said that on Pardon My Take which is a joke show. I wouldn't take anything anyone said to seriously there.
He wasn't. He gave reasons why he likes Phoenix that were not sarcastic.Superbone wrote:A joke show as in they tell sports jokes? So, Griffin was just kidding about Phoenix?carey wrote:He said that on Pardon My Take which is a joke show. I wouldn't take anything anyone said to seriously there.
You're a premature homer.iLLmatic wrote:Call me a homer or premature but I already think Booker is a star. Give him a couple more years and he will be a superstar and likely the best 2 guard in the league.JCSunsfan wrote:I think there is a decent chance Booker becomes a star. Then, maybe Jackson becomes a star. With Griffin, that could be a big 3. But development has to happen. The others need to be solid pieces. In order for this team to succeed, Bledsoe has to quit thinking of himself as a star and think of himself as a complementary player.Split T wrote:And for the record, I'm ok if we decide to pass on Griffin and just keep building on our youth. I still think we need to make some kind of move at some point. I don't see Bledsoe/Booker/Jackson/Bender/Chriss ever being a contender without another piece. And that piece needs to be a star.

Yea I'm nervous every time I check new tweets lolSunsfan4life wrote:Well that DE-ESCULATED quickly. Ultimately probabaly best for the franchise and as much as Griffin is a D-Bag, or seems like one, I don't hold it against the guy to cancel a meeting with us after Clippers offered that money. Probabaly best not to waste our time.
Hope this doesn't lead to us overpaying Millsap

Thank you, Doc Rivers, for continuing to be a terrible basketball exec and saving us from a terrible mistake. Griffin would have been a poor move to make.ShelC wrote:https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/880960938555432960
