Gotta go with Paul George.
I hate the Cousins and Roberson injuries; both of their teams were really starting to take off.

Heck of a game between Golden State and Boston. Curry with 49 on 24 shots. Kyrie with 37 on 18 shots. GS wins 109-105

yes good game. every time I watch Jaylen Brown I think of our situation with Josh because he was drafted mostly based on athleticism, ability to defend and was acknowledged as being raw offensively. he didn't play that much or have a big impact, not many were that excited with his early returns and most ripped Ainge for not taking Kris Dunn IIRC. he continues to improve and I haven't gotten around to crunching the numbers from his rookie season but I just see similarities
am I on an island here ??

no pun intended

Jaylen's rookie per36 numbers were 14/6/2 and he shot .45/.35/.69
Josh is at 17/6/2 shooting .40/.27/.59 but he's trending up.
January per36 is 22/6/3 and shooting .47/.36/.70

Are the Pels even going to make the playoffs now? Injuries suck.

Gonna be tough with the clippers playing well recently. Might depend on how healthy LAC stays the rest of the season

Utah is hot right now, too. They've beaten the Clippers, Raptors, and Pistons recently. They've been up and down all season. I don't think they'll make the playoffs, but they might be good enough to beat the Pels twice and help keep them out of the playoffs.

Speaking of Utah...hindsight is 20/20 and I'm not saying he made a bad move, but could you imagine Donovan Mitchell, Hayward and Gobert as a core Big 3? Mitchell's what Utah was lacking - a legit #1 scoring threat. It was never going to be Hayward and why I was against us going after him with max money. He's a fine #2 or #3, but Mitchell is the beast offensive player they've lacked the past 2 years. Too bad Hayward left.

I'm racking my brain to try and figure out who would be involved in this deal when they already have DAJ so wouldn't be taking back Drummond.

I like it for LA, not sure that Jackson/Griffin/Drummond is what I'd go all in on if I'm Detroit. Griffin next to Drummond does make some sense though.

Harris is pretty dang good, a lot younger and without the injury history. I don't think it's as good a deal for Detroit as you think. It makes them better right now, but they'd desperately need some back court help.

You get your stars first and then build around them, I like their approach but I’m not sure this is going to end up any better than Griffin-Jordan did.
Phoenix take notice. This is how you improve your team. Not taking 5 years to develop players who max out as 8th men.
