Davis should get some MVP consideration if he keeps the Pelicans in the playoffs. I wouldn't vote him over Harden, but I'd put him 2nd

Mavs with the first victory by a tanking team over a non tanking team since the all star break. (Nets also won, but beat fellow tankers Chicago.)

Did you read that article? He's not going to cut it until his high school wins the championship.
Get Sean Miller there, STAT.

And a record-breaking entire month with no wins on the line.

It's absolutely surreal to feel that we have to lose every single game after the allstar break, because one win could raise us 6 or 8 spots in the standing. We are looking at closing the season with a 30 game losing streak. Gross.

Anthony Davis is having a heck of a season here. If he really does decide that he wants out of New Orleans, teams should do absolutely everything to get him.

I would throw every single pick we currently have for him.

Our 2018, Miami 2018 + Milwaukee first + Chriss + Warren.

It’s not even close. I would just love him or Kawhi next to Booker. Dreaming is free

I'd also give up anything on this team, except Booker, for Davis. And the only reason I wouldn't trade Booker is we'd just be replicating the Pelicans roster that AD wanted out from.

Yeah, that's why I keep telling myself that he's going to ask to be traded. It's fun to dream.

Remember when INF was adamant that Davis would never be a #1 option guy?

Booker's defense and the rest of the team's attention to detail on the offensive end with 3 minutes left was really bad. Bad closeouts, bad box outs, bad everything, just not wanting to win.

Unrealistic hypothetical trade question: Would you trade Booker straight up for AD? Like, no picks, no other players, pretend the salaries worked with the cap. Would you swap them?

I *love* Booker, but yes, I would. I think ultimately you can find another SG more easily than a generational big man. AD is probably one of the top 5 players in the league for the next decade. Booker may get to that level or close to it, but AD is a sure thing, a 100% unicorn.

(Kyrie trade haters, this is your chance to jump in and say that you wouldn't trade for Davis because you're scared that he'd leave us in 2 years, or whatever twisted logic you would like to offer.)

AD is 3 years older and has questions about durability, so I wouldn't. Plus I just love Booker.
