Any thoughts on Lonzo Ball's role with the Lakers? Came off the bench in favor of Rondo. Was a -15 and only scored 7 points with 1 assist in 19 minutes.

I feel like Lonzo won't make it through the season on the Lakers. Lebron wants a veteran starting PG, so they'll give Rondo the bulk of the minutes. Then Lavar will start complaining in the media, which Lebron will have little patience for, and then Lebron will start quietly pushing the team to trade Lonzo.
I heard a rumor that they want to trade Ball + parts for Damian Lillard. That makes some sense for them if they can trick Portland into doing it. And Lebron loves Lillard.
I'd be happy for our Suns to help take Lonzo off their hands if they want a future first or some other asset for him!

He's not going to live up to the hype until he becomes a consistent shooter. Until then, he's a more famous Elfrid Payton.

He just didn't seem to have any sort of impact on the game, in my opinion. I actually really liked how Rondo played -- it made me wonder what his fit would have been like on the Suns. A distributing, defensive-minded, veteran PG with championship experience? That's really an ideal fit for us right now.

I think Rondo's vet savvy and ability when he's locked in as he seems at the moment can't be overlooked but everyone basically reported that Lonzo will be eased in cause of the off season procedure.
So I'm not reading much into it yet

Rondo used to be a tremendous defender, but you had to live with his mistakes because he gambled so much. I don't think he's the defender he was due to age and injuries, but he's still smart enough to get it done.
I LOVE Rondo and his game aside from his own offense, but I wouldn't want him on a young, rebuilding team or working within this offense. He just wouldn't fit.

Anthony Davis looking like an MVP again tonight. Antetekounmpo making his own MVP statement. Caris Lavert looking like a really nice player. 28/6/5 from him, maybe a strong MIP candidate. Raptors-Celtics in a tough battle. Some rookies with pretty solid games. Trae, JJJ, and Bagley

Mirotic has been fantastic through 2 games. If he keeps it up, might be tough to keep him off.
