What's the point of even talking about Anthony Davis trades? He doesn't want to be here, and they are 97% done trading him to the Lakers. They are just haggling about the details at this point. AD is not going to be a Sun. 0% chance.
Because unlike you most of us don’t have a favorite team that is in playoff contention right now. Our team sucks, management hasn’t got a clue, and there’s no reason to believe that will change anytime soon. What do you expect us to do, sit around with our thumbs up our butts?
Certainly you have the right to talk about whatever you want. But there are many other trade ideas that are less preposterous that you could talk about. If you want to fantasize about AD, why not propose scenarios that land us Lebron, or Kevin Durant, or Kawhi? KD looks like he may leave the Warriors; what kind of package can we put together?
Fair. I’m just frustrated with Booker. He’s certainly taken a step back this year in play, attitude and health. I expect much more from him on-court and off-court now with the contract extension. He can’t even stay on the court, and many times his play and attitude have hurt us. What I meant to say in general, was that I don’t consider him untouchable for the right player any longer.
That’s why you don’t muck around with tanking when you have a star player. GMs need to scaffold their way to the top with good competitive rosters that develop rooks with good gameplay and not mindless playing time

The Wiz tankathon begins. Also, every player in that trade has a 6-letter name that starts with P. I had to do a double-take.

They just got themselves is a great position to build a big three next summer. They are looking at less than $74M entering the offseason counting KP's cap hold of $17M. Very good move for them.

As for the Kings, they are just two games ahead of LAL, but assuming LAC drops, I doubt Barnes moves the needle enough to make the playoffs if LeBron is healthy. Don't like it for them, especially because they are helping a competitor next season for the playoffs.

The Kings can never get out of their own way. They had a solid young team that was playing well together and from what I'm reading the lockerroom was in shock because Iman, Jackson and ZBo were well liked and it was a close group. I kind of like the Barnes addition because he's a very underrated scorer and they need that in the lineup. He gives them some versatility at the 3/4 but it remains to be seen how this affects the team's chemistry.

Who do they plan to get that is better than Barnes?

Also we are getting some stats guy from Miami’s front office. I don’t know how to put tweets on here via phone to show it but I fully expect to read about a trade including a row of Honey Buns from the Miami vending machine next

Mirotic to Milwaukee.

Are we even fucking trying? Is anybody in the office? Or does James Jones strictly work to do favors for other teams and players.

There is zero point to trading for Mirotic. He’s an unrestricted free agent. 11 win teams don’t make 30 game rental trades. That would be very dumb.

Jason Smith and Stanley Johnson. I feel like that is an underwhelming haul

You get a chance to evaluate his fit with Ayton for the rest of the year and resign him. I would absolutely be for it. What is the point of waiting? What are we waiting for? They got him for a bag of dicks. I’m sure Sarver has plenty of those sitting around to offer.
