How the hell is Morant going to be in the ASG if someone gets hurt and not Booker? He's a rookie and he hasn't been better than Booker this season.

^ I'll believe that when I see it. But, if so, that would be completely ridiculous. Morant's a special player but Booker has been better.

Eh, no sense in getting worked up before there’s a reputable source reporting it

Yeah, That accounts looks like it hasn't Tweeted in years since that Tweet. Let's hope it's BS. If anyone gets hurt, it would have to be Booker as the alternate.

If someone doesn't play due to injury (or just decides to skip it like Butler did last year), does the replacement player come from the same conference?

Also, if you are Lebron and Giannis, how many of the remaining players would you pick after Devin Booker? I counted 15, but it depends on position.

In the past they’ve come from the same conference

I haven't watched an all-star game in a very long time. Have they done that even since switching to the draft style?

They pick all the starters first. So of the 14 reserves, who goes ahead of Booker? Honestly Lillard is the only one I’d say for sure. Don’t see any of the big men going ahead of Booker. Simmons/Butler seem like the most likely to also go ahead of him.

Couple trade ideas:

Clippers: Aron Baynes
Suns: Landry Shamet, Jerome Robinson.

Suns: Bogdan Bogdanovic, Dewayne Dedmon (I know. The contract is bad)
Kings: Tyler Johnson, Elie Okobo. Protected 1st round pick (ugh, I know! But I want Bogdan tho.)

Bogdan and Shamet should hold down our back up guard spots, with Bogdan being the primary back up point. I think Bogdan is versatile enough to play 2/3 spots as well. Cam Johnson when health can play the 3 and 4 with Saric being our backup 4-5.

Starters: Rubio- All-Star Booker-Oubre-Bridges-Ayton

Bench: Bogdanovic, Shamet, Cam and Saric.

I think that’s a solid rotation. I know Bogdanovic is about to be paid but as long as it’s not outlandish, I’m down. Size will still be a problem but our shooting should be much improved. If someone has to be waived then waive Robinson or Carter..or both or if it’s possible, buyout Dedmon(if that’s possible).

Bogdon would be awesome, but I can’t imagine Sacramento giving him up for just a protected 1st...they get out of the Dedmon contract, but I think they say no.

I don’t know how LA values Shamet and how concerned they are about their lack of size, but I know I’d do that trade in a heartbeat

I would be a yes on both of those deals without much concern, so I think it would be a no from the Kings and Clips. Didn't I just hear that the Kings were floating Bogdanovic's name?

What kind of “no”?

Like “No, but we are still listening” or “Hell No!!! Get your 2K bullshit out of here!”?

https://arizonasports.com/story/2247482 ... star-game/

Devin Booker suggests NBA should put ‘the best players in’ All-Star Game
“It was always a goal of mine (to be an All-Star), but it just reproves the point that the NBA is different than the game that I fell in love with at the beginning — of all the best players in the All-Star game — growing up watching that,” he said. “And now it’s an entertainment-, drama-, political-filled league.

“But we’re a part of it now. It pays well so I guess we should be quiet about it.”

still listening for both. I think the Clippers might be more likely to do the deal than the Kings, though.

I will be protesting and not watching the all-star game if Devin Booker isn't in it.
