I predicted the Suns would win 42 games in our poll. I don't need Hollinger's stupid numbers.

A little concerned about Saric

Yeah, two weeks with a quad injury is a bad sign to start the season. Has anyone seen/heard about him doing full practices yet?

I thought he participated in practice today, but who knows. He needs to get right.

Feels like we need another veteran stretch big. We re-signed Dario and drafted Stix, probably could've had Baynes back but passed and then added Jones and Motley as FAs. Stix can shoot but not sure how much we can/should lean on a rook this season. We definitely needed length and athleticism in the frontcourt, so I get drafting Stix and signing Jones, but Jones should really fill that Diallo role. I like what Motley brings but he's young and has no offense etiher. Even if/when Saric is healthy, that leaves him and Stix as the only bigs off the bench who can shoot.

Dedmon’s still out there.

You could even say Dedmon walking.

The Ayton quote is what sets him up for failure tho.

And yea, it's odd how the FO put such a premium on shooting last year but added two bigs with no offense. I like Jones and Motley, but Dedmon or Tolliver would at least be viable threats. Maybe the FO knows something we don't about those guys.

Here's another quote setting himself up for failure. Going to call BS on this too.

I do feel that he's probably right, where he hasn't learned the why on doing this stuff and he's actually learning that now with Paul. We'll see how it goes and if he grows from this experience, but it can't hurt to get them on the same page, even if it's Paul that's learning what Ayton is thinking in situations.

THERE IS NO WAY THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SOMEONE SAT DOWN WITH HIM TO WATCH FILM TO TEACH HIM SOMETHING!

Arg. I just had to let that out.

Kellen said it's probably the first time a player has sat with him, as opposed to just coaches. Either way, not the best choice of words.

I think you are misunderstanding. You can have guys sit down with him and go over the film, but the focus could be very different for Ayton. He's saying that no one is telling him about the angles he needs to be in, the level of detail may have been totally different, because someone else may have thought that was understood. Idk, I haven't been in the film room with Ayton every time, but as someone that has gone over film with players, I could see how that happens.

I'm much more concerned about this:

"Aggression is very natural to me. I'm Dominayton. ... I love to compete."

It's obvious to everyone with eyes that this is not true. We used to have a guy named Amare Stoudemire, Ayton. Look him up. THAT is aggression.

Our 3rd and 4th string big men show more aggression.
