I think this Lundberg guy is interesting. He’s on a 2-way so not playoff eligible unless we cut someone and convert him, but this feels like a tryout for next year. He’s a 6’3 guard who can play on or off the ball. He has some length and can play defense. I’ll I’ve watched are highlight videos and looked at his stats, but I’m intrigued and maybe he could be a depth piece for us going forward.
Can we still convert him or is it too late for that? Does somebody know for sure?
Ya we still can, don’t have to sign them by a certain date, they just have to be off another nba team by a certain date. He was in Russia, so he’s playoff eligible.
Awesome. Good to have that option, I guess. Thank you for your swift and clear clarification.

Time and patience are expected during the rookie contract, but once you sign an extension or as free agent, you must live up to that value, he didn’t sign a minimum contract, so more time struggling this much is out of the question. Swim or sink Landry boy, if you want to be part of a contender’s rotation.

I don't care if he ever plays another minute, Biyombo is already one of my favorite Suns ever.

He is still on his rookie deal this year of 3.8M.

BG From Barbados @BajanGuy

Was able to speak to Cam last night and told him I mentioned on our message board that I felt he would miss the mandatory five games for his quad. He smiled and said decent bet so stay tuned guys

I agree that the guy deserves some space and some patience. But a) he's 25, not 19; and b) it's mid-March, so he's had most of a full season to get comfortable and figure things out. I think it is reasonable to have some expectations that he would be more consistent by now. I will give him credit for playing improved basketball in several games lately. But then the other night against Toronto I think he had 2 points and hit 0-4 on 3s. I just want to see him be more consistent.

I think we all do. He hasn't been very good this year. Better/more serviceable than Jevon was, but not "Jevon + late first round pick" better considering the 4 years of salary control you have over the pick.

Ya I remember last regular season with Ayton…we were so done with him. It seemed like the 8/6 games were way too regular and even when he was putting up numbers, he just never looked invested. Jogging up the court constantly, getting yelled at by Book and CP3 because he was just walking up the court and we wanted to run, just not mentally in the game.

Last year that was like 4 out of 5 games and then he’d have 1 or 2 monster games and then go back. This year the crap games are like 1/5, so a major improvement. I’m expecting a fully invested Ayton again in the playoffs.

Tried to speak it into existence for selfish reasons lol but don't think anyone is concerned about him getting back in a hurry

Really cool to see
We all loved Sparkplug Cam and would have to live with the good and bad of it. The development as a facilitator is cool
I've been rooting for Cam all along but I not gonna act like I had him making double digit assists games the norm

The Twins and Crowder have certainly added a mid range game. No doubt Booker and CP3 had something to do with that.
