One thing to consider is that we may lock up the #1 seed with a bunch of games to spare. If we do that, I could see us strategically resting players.

Agreed, but I also think this team cares about things like breaking a record. I can see them resting guys once we get to 63.

Good point. That also didn't enter my thinking. Now I could see us not even tying the franchise record.

Also a good point. This team enjoys the journey.

Ya I think we’ll play tough until the end(mostly). I think we want 63, but could see us resting once we get there. I’m going to the suns-Jazz game in utah the 2nd to last game of the year, so I selfishly hope we try in that game haha.

One thing to note is if CP3 comes back before the playoffs, we’ll probably want to give him a couple games to get in rhythm, so he’d probably be playing those last few games.

Maybe just expand the rotation and let the starters start. Just don’t play them that many minutes so they keep their rhythm. Then again that’s easier said than done when it’s a tie ballgame heading into the fourth.

I'm already ready to be pissed off when they play Book and CP3 40 minutes in our last meaningless regular season game.
