They also have the perfect cast to surround Luka. Can you imagine Luka with those defenders around him and all that shooting? Claxton, Bridges, DFS and Cam with Luka?

They do, but there’s no way they could keep all that and get Luka. Bridges would be a must for Dallas.

I want nothing but the best for Mikal…. I think sending him to Dallas almost guarantees him returning to us when his contract is up lol

Also, I feel like luka is destined for the Jazz…. He just fits in a jazz jersey

Jazz absolutely should offer Dallas like 10 1sts for Luka. And it would be hilarious that Utah has a core of Luka/Lauri/Kessler

That would actually be a pretty sick lineup... Also cracks me up how the Jazz's roster usually leans a little "lighter".

This is the worse outcome for our second round pick. It means we have #52 instead of #51 (so less money for James Jones when he sells it).

Or more money for Ishbia to hand over when he combines it with cash to buy a first round pick. 8-)

'Bazz is still living in the old days.

Ishbia may be willing to spend. I don't know if he's going to change JJ's philosophy about the value of the draft. I don't think that was him just taking a bullet for Sarver.

Maybe Bob Myers will come change some philosophies.

Anyone have any prospects they like at 52? That’s our only pick. Any chance we buy some 2nd round picks? Could be the cheapest way to add bodies to the roster.

ESPN mock has us taking Emoni Bates. I would’ve been a lot more excited about that 3 years ago.

Bates seems like the type that OKC or GS would snag late and get him to fulfill his potential.

I'm not going full Saucey when it comes to the Wemby doom, but I think there is some obvious risk. He's still the clear #1 for me.

I also think not taking Scoot #2 would be a huge error by the Hornets. Miller looks promising, but I think Scoot is a can't-miss prospect. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the best talent from this draft in a decade, and that's despite thinking very highly of Wemby.

Good video about Wemby and #1 picks in general. This guy always has really good content. I think he is the best basketball YouTuber.

If the league were starting over and doing a draft of all eligible players, how high does Wemby go?

Top 7, the potential is so ridiculous.

I’d seriously be tempted to take him 1…I’d probably take Jokic and Giannis ahead of him…Luka would be the only other guy I’d consider. Unless I was like the Lakers or some franchise that can get stars easier. If I’m a mid-market or small market team, I’d probably just go for Wemby and go 8-9 years younger than Jokic/Giannis.
