Sign me up for Jaylen Brown. Ayton alone probably isn't enough; not sure what a realistic scenario would be.

Brown looks ... lost. Maybe he does need a change of scenery.
Even though Celtics have had several coaching changes in recent years, Mazzulla looks in over his head. Not an inspiring presence ...

Brown, Brogdon, Tatum and White are 15-50 in three quarters.

The Celtics would be dumb to overhaul their roster. They need a better coach.

If they knew about the Udoka stuff and still let Hardy get away... that's a colossal mistake.

It could've just been bad luck.

I don't think Jalen Brown is a realistic acquisition for the Suns. Marcus Smart is the guy I'd like to bring in if possible.

Either of Brown or Smart is much better than anybody else I've seen bandied about as a trade for Ayton so far.

Am I the only one who doesn't want Brown? Something seems off, him and Tatum have no idea how to play off of each other, no clue how he'd exist with Book/KD.

I think they're one of a number of teams unhappy with how their season ended who could convince themselves that they'll be the ones to turn Ayton into the difference maker that he should be.

Would they? Not sure they would want him plus I think Jaylen Brown’s FA might complicate things but maybe we could help with a reset?

What about this?

Blazers - S&T Jaylen Brown, Ayton

Celtics- Shamet, Simmons, Nurkic, 3rd Pick( celts draft Scoot or Miller)

Suns- Brogdon, Horford or Williams, Shaedon Sharpe

Blazers get a big 3 or Big 4 if they re-sign grant.

Celtics get to draft Scoot or Miller to pair with Tatum and dominate for the next decade with Simons too. Celtics gets younger with a pair some nice role players as well.

Suns get a perfect guard to pair with Booker in Brogdon, a solid center to replace Ayton and a great prospect in Sharpe who could develop into a star and be the future running mate with Book in the backcourt.

I think Brown is great, but the "three star" thing simply hasn't worked. One guy always has to become an elite-skill role player (Bosh, Draymond/Klay, Jrue) and do the little stuff. That's really hard to make work if all three guys are scorers before anything else.

I wouldn't be worried about Brown and Tatum together if I were a Celtics fan. They'll be fine when they get a coach they can believe in again.

Lebron has 21 in the 1st quarter and the Lakers are up 6 at the end of the 1st. Lakers maybe win one for pride here, then get stomped in Denver in Game 5.
