I've been trying to think of a comp for him. There's a little Corey Maggette there in that they both can score without great range, but Warren seems better off the ball and Maggette was better at attacking North-South and drawing contact.

Very un-Maggette in that Warren is incredibly efficient.

We'll see, but if those floaters work in the league he's going to put up points.

I obviously missed it. Probably saved me some work time though. I would have gone nuts trying to watch the draft on three boards.

He has what they refer to in soccer as a high work rate. That's a great trait that can help others get going. Imagine having a second unit with Isaiah2, TJ and Goodwin putting pressure on the opposition ...

I think that is Horny's strategy. He wants to score as many points in transition as possible. The difference between he and DAntoni is that he is going to have a rotation that goes deeper than 7 players.

Maggette was more efficient than you think. Got to the line a ton and shot 83-85% there. PER generally in the high teens and a True Shooting % in the 58-59% range.

TJ Warren gives me flash backs of Antawn Jamison in his early GSW years. Anywhere inside of 15 feet he was deadly, used floaters and odd arcs on his shot, finished thru contact well. Hope Warren can add a reliable 3pt shot to go with his mid range skills.
