This was a game I thought he’d get played off the floor.

Some nice flow so far but still a lot of heavy lifting on offense with KD and Book. Nurk getting some good looks inside but Allen and Okogie quiet so far.

not a bad half for book

Encouraging score at half considering how disjointed the Suns have been most of the game.

Defensive rebounding has been a huge problem and GS isn't a great offensive rebounding team.

Book locked in from the tip.

Okogie gave them a nice energy boost at the end of the half.

Gordon has been a steadying presence as a ball handler.

Grayson Allen hasn't existed

EG and Grayson I can't remember hitting much but we doing solid on D even tho we haven't secured some loose balls

This been an average half at best for our offense and being up 15 is solid stuff

We pulled away towards halftime to kick the lead up to 15. Didn't think we'd see a full bench unit but we did and they weren't great. Eubanks was all out of sorts but also had a few nice plays. Just seemed a step off. EG seemed to take Allen's minutes because he just wasnt effective for whatever reason. Yuta got some run but didn't do much. It's really KD and Book doing the damage but Okogie came on late and Nurk's been solid. Ws are playing some pretty good defense but don't have a lot of firepower outside of Curry. Klay's been off and Paul is 0-6. Moody and Payton brought some energy off the bench and they helped take the lead against our bench but once KD and Book got back in we took control of the game.

No more playing the entire 1st qtr for Book. He came out at around the 2 minute mark then he got subbed back in with about 8 minutes left in the 2nd. A bit more conventional subbing frm Vogel. KD was similar but the bench unit struggled so without Beal he may need to keep one of them out there a bit longer with the 2nd unit. Shouldn't be a problem once Beal is back.

The back door over the top passes that Nurkic provides are such nice addition.
