They were wrong. It happens. He's more of a spark plug energy guy. A strong defender. Runner of offense doesn't seem to be too strong for him.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Yeah, I see no need to add a "second(ary) championship." It was good how it was for 77 years.

If the players like it, cool. No fan is gonna brag about this though, especially if you root for a team with 0 titles, that's just sad.

Contrarian takes on the IST are lazy and boring.

Kind of a choppy game in the 1st half. Looked like both teams were playing after a holiday and the Grizz were keeping it close because their 3s were falling. Never felt like they were a real threat tho and we had a clear talent advantage. Their 3s stopped falling and Book took over offensively they just couldn't keep up. He was on all game but we ran him off the ball more in the 2nd half next to Goodwin and Allen to free him up for shots. Just one of those games where he made everything he looked at but nothing felt forced.
Goodwin gave us some good minutes after not much playing the past few games. I like that these guys are ready even if there are stretches where they don't have roles. Sometimes it's just matchup based but without KD, we needed the extra ballhandler. It's not that Goodwin is a great PG but he's another ballhandler who can take Book off the ball on offense. He gave us a nice spark tho getting into the lane and was hounding them on defense.
EG took on the secondary scoring role, and Allen worked into the offense a bit more in the 2nd half. I think there are a lot more opportunities for him offensively if he could take the pullup 2 off the dribble, but right now he's a 3 or drive guy. Not sure if he just doesn't have the midrange shot but it'd be huge for him and us if he looked for that offense. Also thought he'd be better on the ball running offense but he's been limited to bringing the ball up, making the initial pass and cutting away.
Nurk was Nurk, Metu, Nas and KBD were ok. Okogie was solid on defense but they were giving him the open shot and he went 2-9. Luckily we didn't need much more from the others because it was the Grizz.
