Chris Paul must hold the record for the most hand injuries in a career.
Kinda ironic for a guy who's an insurance spokeman... life comes at you fast!
Hopefully the speed walking works out for him. Smart to pick a sport that doesn't involve his hands.

Kind of amazing that the in-season champion Lakers aren't even in the top 10 already! We're not even half way into the season.

The current Lakers swoon is a good reminder that it's a long season that has ebbs and flows to it. After that in-season tournament, it sure looked like the Lakers' size / strength / depth were going to make them a real problem this year. But they've mostly stunk since then. It seems like they had a boost of motivation to try to win the IST (led by Lebron) and now the grind of the season has settled in.

Side note, it's crazy that 19-16 in the West is only good for the 8 seed. So many good teams in the West this year.

I also think we’re not playing for the regular season and maybe even sandbagging it a little.

You have to establish greatness before you can sandbag. You can’t expect to flip a switch for the playoffs and play at a level you haven’t played at before.

We will see.

I don't think we are sandbagging it at all. We're genuinely losing lots of games so far this season despite trying our best. But I do think that we have multiple levels we can still improve and that there's reason to think this could be a really scary team by the time the playoffs come.

Yeah, I don't think it'll be a switch but I could see a gradual improvement into a scary team going into the playoffs.

So I guess this will amount to something like 15 games over the month. 3 week suspension with a 1 week ramp up. The punishment was always going to be a joke, dog and pony show.

15 games is not nothing…12 game suspension also cost him nearly 2 million dollars I saw. I don’t have any problem with it…I thought at first it seemed like 10 games would be fair…Now if he does something again? Probably done for the season

Again this season should be the end of his career.

Career seems excessive, but he’d get a firm rest of the season ban from me and likely a significant one for next season with some big time stipulations he’d have to meet. At that point I would make it clear to him that another violent outburst would be the end, no questions asked.

I don’t think you can go from 0 games(Poole) to 1 game(Sabonis) to 5 games(Rudy) to 12 games(Nurkić) to career. GS really did him a disservice by not disciplining him for the Poole punch. He’s in trouble, but he’s not on quite his last strike for me.

If you gauge it against other large suspensions in NBA history, I think it is fair and harsh enough. But I hope Draymond retires soon because it seems clear that his head isn't in the game any more.

This would have been a much better use of our last 2-way than Maledon. Windler can play. He just can’t stay healthy.
