Some team will take a flyer on DA in free agency thinking "he was in a bad situation in Portland, he played well in Phoenix. We can get thru to him.". Low risk, high reward for a team like the Celtics.
Some win now team with a proven coach and leadership structure will take him for the MLE.

It's kinda funny watching him casually jog onto the screen after the play is over like, "What'd I miss?"
Gonna be funny when Isiah takes over as Prez/GM, brings DA back to the Valley a year from now as his reclamation project and calls him the best center in the league.

It reminds me of the time he got a technical called on a player for having his jersey untucked. There is no tiny advantage he doesn’t think of to pursue.
The only thing gross was having to watch a center like Frye who couldn't get a double-double if his life depended on it.
I admire the dedication at this point. Good for you.
My Frye hate is nothing new. I always hated him when he played for us.
I remember lots of people complaining about Frye pretty constantly. He wasn’t great at traditional C things, so they stood out…he was definitely a positive for the team though…nobody wanted the C shooting a bunch of 3s though.
