Suns lack of size showed up again.
Rebounds:
ATL - 54 (20 offensive) PHX - 37 (6 offensive)
The second chance point opportunities killed us.
There's your ballgame.

Point guard is not the problem!!! Our 7ft starting center air balls layups, gets out rebounded by 6’5” players, and fumbles the ball at every opportunity.
It fucks everything up!!! It allows players to get doubled cuz they know our centers will air ball lay ups and they know they can send 2 to anyone with the ball. Our offense gets stagnant cuz teams know 1 player on the floor at all times is not just a zero on offense but negative points, there is not safety net here. So teams can get physical, take risks on defense cuz it’s 4 on 5 on both ends of the floor with Plum or Nurk.
Defensively, our centers get out rebounded by little people, no rim defense at all, so teams do what ever they want at the rim and they know it’s 50/50 ball our centers even get the defensive rebound. This is bad, bad, bad, bad. Get this garbage off this team. We can’t wait till the deadline or Jimmy trade to happen to fix this. This needs to be fixed now.
No team can win playing 4 on 5 and that’s what we are doing every game.

Outrebounded 20 to 6 on the offensive glass. Wow.

Suns have also proceeded to do this continually with an open roster spot

I wish KD would spend less time handling the ball and more time focusing on boxing out and securing rebounds. Even with a Richards addition (or whoever else), we’ll basically have just one guy out there fighting for rebounds. We lack size and willpower.

I don’t think anybody is shocked…it’s more like your frustration with Ishbia…lowering expectations doesn’t help
Lowered expectations is exactly how I’m coping with Ish. I’m expecting epic levels of failure. Like the flip side of the Chuck Norris meme. Failure so extreme it defies the limits of reality, or even imagination. I am leaving him no possible room to disappoint me.
And he’s looking at me like… “Challenge accepted.”
But yet you still complain about him non-stop…complaining is a coping mechanism

With Royce being so tonight, why didn't Dunn get more minutes or Okogie play at all? Both of those 2 would have provided some resistance at the POA vs Trae.

Plumlee is a player that should only be played sparingly throughout the season, when there’s foul trouble with starting and back up C, or injuries, but since Nurk is a Shanghai Sharks level player now, we were forced to use Plumlee and remaining gas in he had in his tank is now gone. He honestly should just retire.
When we finally trade for a perfectly mid center or centers? I would just waive Plumlee. It’s brutal but it’s true.
Especially if we do Nurk for Richards and Williams. Need another open spot for another move if need be.

I suspect Okogie will likely be the one involved in the potential Richards deal. I’m afraid we may be stuck with Nurk.

You have to admit it’s been a real emotional roller coaster the last 4-5 years with expectations being high and results being less than acceptable in flaming out in the playoffs. A lot of this board is getting long in the tooth and would love to see at least one championship before we go.

Woof.
Royce sucks. He's worthless unless he's on from 3. He doesn't do ANYTHING else well.

Bingo
This is the problem with 3 players who think they're a Big 3 on the court together. None of them want to do the dirty work or think it's beneath them. It leaves 1 center, and 1 other player to try to do it all.
Dunn cannot have 1 rebound in 22 minutes. It cannot happen. Oso needs to be on pace for double digit rebounds per 36 if he's going to play major minutes.

Kinda feel bad for Plumlee -- no one should expect him to produce as a starter night in and out. He should really be a third Center who sometimes gets bumped up to second due to injury, fouls or matchups.
I think some of you guys might feel a bit better if you just start betting opposition Center player props every night until the Suns trade for someone. It's really pretty easy as long as you don't pick the wrong guy like I did tonight (Capela).

that up by doing something right.

Bringing in the Hornets backup center doesn't fix this. It's delusional to think it would.

The most damning thing about watching this team play is that it feels like they have play perfect offensive possessions to get a good shot while the opponent can just get a good almost at will.
Yup, and it doesn't matter if they miss either because they'll get the offensive rebound. I have never in my life seen a team so HORRENDOUS at getting defensive rebounds than this Suns team. It is PATHETIC! These guys should be ASHAMED!

How many second chance points is that for Atlanta now? About 348?
About 3 or 4 per possession. However many it takes to score.
