Suns win.
It wasn't pretty, but I'll take it.

Clippers did us a favor and make the focus Harden and Kawhi instead of Powell who is their best player. Stupidity on their part.

It’s not gross because we won. The clippers are a legit team, that’s a quality freaking win, idc it was ugly. Win is win.

Suns beat a medium hot Clippers team, and looked great in stretches.
... and in stretches turned the ball over way too much.
Plumlee is a solid rebounder and defender, but absolutely can't catch a ball in the paint on offense.
Just awful hands.
Beal's 4 TO performance off the bench also helped the Clippers get back in the game.

at 8-2 in their last 10 the Suns are actually one of the hottest teams in the league right now (along with Houston, Indiana and Milwaukee)

We clearly need another quality big alongside Richards. Plumlee shouldn’t be anything more than a third string center at this point in his career. Richards struggled against Zubac tonight.

Richards isn't good enough to give you 20 & 10 every night. They need another center that they can count on to contribute for 15-20 minutes. And that isn't Plumlee of Oso at this point of their careers.
If they could move O'Neale and one of those picks and pick up a reliable big man, that'd be huge.

I don't agree with the "ugly win" takes.
This was one of the better defensive and rebounding efforts we've seen from this team all season. A great win from my perspective.

I guess I’ve just grown tired of seeing them blow (or nearly blow) a double digit lead within the final minutes. We get far too complacent. We also had another rough third quarter, which has become par for the course. They played with a ton of energy in the first half and were doing a great job rebounding the ball. Clippers are a good team this season and are currently ahead of us in the standings, so it was nice to see us pull it out and take the season series against them. Now we need to take care of Minnesota.
