You can only laugh or cry. I'm with you. There's going to be a lot of laughing for quite a while, I'm afraid.

And to think before the season started I had a lot of optimism about the new coaching staff and player additions. How wrong I was. Had no idea that Bud was so mealy mouthed and now it's obvious that the Suns brought in all offense and no defense or length.

Ishbia is off to an inauspicious start to his stewardship of the Suns. Mistake after mistake. I hope he can pull it together going forward. It's good that he's willing to spend but this time it got him into trouble. His brashness was his folly.

Bud is gone lol but this roster construction is absolute trash. Prime Pop isn’t fixing this. People point to the job Vogel did last year but starting to think this roster is worst than last years. Adding Tyus Jones to the roster and playing significant minutes made us really tiny and even worst defensively. It’s clear that he’s a back up player, but playing him as a starter with roster he didn’t fit with, that would magnified his flaws, was a tremendously bad move.

Center group is worse than last year, is Plumlee better than Eubanks? Yes but not significantly but what really killed us is Nurk regressing so bad. He was a mid starting center most last year, really fell off at the end of the season and continued into this season, thus dooming this center rotation. Nick Richards is a good backup. Need to get a proper starting center this offseason.


This roster construction forces us to pretty much play tiny 3 guard lineups that are horrible defenders with ass centers for most of the game. You can’t wing games like that. Now you are seeing that boil over. Every team in the league knows how to press us and due to our roster construction, we basically have no counter. No coach is fixing that.

We needed to surround Book and KD with size, skill and defense and we literally did the opposite every chance we took after the KD trade. This what you get.

Fizdale sucks but Bud is gonna get fired, it’s gonna lite a fire under the teams ass, we gonna sneak into the play-in and because of that we retain Fizdale for next season too lock in having a shiity coach hahahaha. Most suns shit ever.

I really, really don't like Fizdale as a head coach. Bud has really lost the team, but I would honestly rather keep him than switch to Fiz. I have never been a fan of his, all the way back to his boneheaded "take that for data" press conference which showed how out of touch he is.

I mostly agree. It’s not Bud’s fault this roster is fucked up but losing what? 10 out of 11 or 12 or something like that, losing to Toronto, losing to the Pels multiple times and now potentially back to back nights? Add in that he pissed off your Star player, who is the most important player in franchise history, I just don’t know how you come back from that.

I’d bet a car payment the source of this story is Fizdale himself lol. There’s blood in water right now. Who ever our next coach is gonna be paid cheaply and Fiz checks that box lol *sigh*

Honestly, I'd take any coaching change at this point. Gotta be a shake up. Bud isn't going into next season as our coach anyway. So an interim coach is fine. Even Fizdale.

Honestly, I'd take any coaching change at this point. Gotta be a shake up. Bud isn't going into next season as our coach anyway. So an interim coach is fine. Even Fizdale.

My concern would be firing Bud, making Fiz the interim and the team plays better simply because he's not Bud. He's a player friendly coach, things will look better and then we'll go into next season with the same core and Fizdale as head coach and everything will get exposed once again.

I generally had concerns about the overall coaching staff heading into the season, didn't seem like a lot of veteran assistants and Bud seemed to be having a hard time filling out the staff. This is the 2nd year in a row where Book's called out the attention to detail.
