This thread is a rollercoaster of emotions. Didn't watch because I'd rather get a good night's sleep. Maybe I'll rewatch the 2nd half. Glad we won just so Houston's pick hopefully isn't too high.

Starting to just hate KD. Telling fans to leave rather than boo is dumb. Complaining all the time that his body language is overanalyzed, then rips his arm away from the coach the way he does. THEN, complains that the media will make too much of it. He's a sour dude. Even tho they "made up", it's not something that's commonplace to where it's being pointed out with just him. But remember, it was nothing with Beal and Vogel last year too.

Glad Gillespie showed something but gotta see it for extended stretches where teams are prepared for him. Dunn not getting any time is an absolute joke. He's not the worst offensive player in the league. We can live with some missed shots.
You have to watch the end of the 3rd and all of the 4th quarter. It was the best basketball of the season. All off a sudden they were getting stops and were unstoppable on offense. And the arena was rocking. This is what this team was supposed to be.

I agree about Dunn. It's ridiculous and I don't understand it at all. Their Dunn missed every three from what I remember and wasn't bashful. He took a lot of them. Of course, I was happy every time he did because the result was always the same.

Wait, ... we won?!? I turned this turd of a game off in the 3rd quarter (when we were down by 20+) and didn't even check the score until this morning. Holy cow.

I really think we should be giving minutes to Gillespie. Every time I see him play he looks like he knows what he is doing. And we haven't got much to lose.

41 minutes for both Book and KD, hmmmm. 0 minutes for Ryan Dunn, hmmmmmmm. Brad Beal, 0 points. Bol Bol, 2 points. Tons of contributions off the bench. Very weird box score for this one. I may need to rewatch it on my DVR.
It's the game of our season so you definitely need to watch. Beal went out injured at halftime and Bol didn't play in the 2nd half due to coach's decision as far as I could tell.

Re-watched the 4th and it's tough to ignore CG's impact. That's the difference in having a legit PG out on the floor who just knows how to play the position. Takes command of the offense, plays with pace, gets guys in their spots, keeps the defense on its heels. It's the opposite of what we've seen over the past two seasons. He didn't just walk the ball up, didn't defer or just pass it off to Book or KD, didn't jog up court and let his center bring the ball up after a rebound or a made shot. It's the intangible of getting others going and making them better. Letting Book and KD do their jobs as scorers instead of being ballhandlers/initiators. That's the kind of PG play we've been missing, just need to see it from him on a game to game basis.

This. This is what Tyus Jones was supposed to do!

But it's easy to see why the Coach has lost the team. Quick hooks for guys like Dunn and Bol who play hard and have a few mistakes, but others on the team can be walking turnovers for long stretches. I get that maybe guys like KD and others have earned the right to stay out and battle through some mistakes, but it can't be like that.

I still don't think Bol is an every game player and the Clips aren't a great matchup for him. With the wings they have, Dunn could've been a weapon defensively. And if you have him and CG on the floor, you're getting guys who play hard, play fast and can impact the game aside from just taking jumpers.

Did Beal get hurt again? Terrible stat line.

Here's the 4th quarter and the best basketball of our entire season:

I guess it ends after we tie it up. More heroics followed.

I didn't watch the game live, I just recorded it on DVR. I kept track on the game on my phone. When I saw the Suns gave up 41 points in the 2nd quarter, I gave up hope.

But then an hour later, I got the alert on my phone that the game was tied 106-106. I got an instant shot of adrenaline. Then after they held on and won the game, I went back and watch that magical fourth quarter.

EVERYTHING we've wanted to see the Suns do, they finally did. Play with pride and passion, play with a sense of urgency, hustle, play defense, and get cuts to the basket.

Oh, and they had no turnovers in the final 18 minutes of the game.🫣

COLLIN F'N GILLESPIE!!! Wow! Hints of the Goran Dragic game. This guy needs to play 25 minutes a night.

That’s the problem. This team can be good, we know what they are capable of. Kinda a certain player we used to have.

Wins and losses seriously don’t matter much at this point. We’re not going to “save our season” by getting to the play in. Might as well use the games to develop the youngsters instead of putting more useless mileage on guys in their mid to late 30’s.

Fair…it just seems we complain about the same things every night. But you’re right, then something like that 4th Q happens and we wonder why the team doesn’t always play like that.

I just think I’ve come to learn that the bad will always rear its head at some point. I expect it and then I’m pleasantly surprised when something like last night happens.

We could have him make a pair of Elliot Perrys? We could use that.
