"It's surprising to me that other people, other fans, they actually like the rebuild process," Ishbia said, disdain dripping from his voice as the final word of that sentence comes out of his mouth. "Like, 'Oh, let's rebuild it.' Are you crazy?! You think I'm going to go for seven years and try to get there? You enjoy the 2030 draft picks that we have holding? I want to try to see the game today. I want us to win today, and we're going to try.
INF is rolling in his grave.
What happened to Informer?

He's working on his barrel rolls.

He died, but don’t worry about it. He’s been dead before. He always comes back eventually. It sometimes takes him a while to dig his way out.

And what do we have to show for our first ever #1 overall pick? Grayson Allen and Nick Richards? So many thing have gone wrong since Ishbia took over. Now he needs to pull us out of this mess.
Nope. We got Nick Richards for Josh Okogie.
It’s Grayson Allen, Cody Martin, and Vasilije Micic. Between the latter two, they have contributed 1 minute and 35 seconds of production for us combined.

Did I miss something?
NO, it's just a joke. It's a thing these days. You mention people that are alive rolling in their graves.

It’s incredible to me how LA can remain relevant every year pulling some of the moves they pull and feel like they’ve always been dumping picks like us to chase stars…. The difference, they’re 5th in the west and we’re 11th. Just frustrating.

LA has the market and the history that the Suns do not. They are not the same.

I get it... but it doesn't make it any less frustrating.

LA was pretty irrelevant in the gap between Kobe and LeBron

Kobe retired in 2016.
LeBron signed in 2018.
So you mean for 2 whole years?

I should have said post Kobe Achilles tear to the AD trade they were irrelevant. They missed the playoffs 6 straight years, including Kobe’s last 3 and LeBron’s 1st(LeBron got hurt).

Great to see this improvement with the rooks playing. But wtf Bud, how did you completely miss this for 80% of the season and only just discover it now? Especially after playing them early in the year and getting off to a great start?!?

Rest of the season rotation:
PG: Tyus or Monty, Gillespie
SG: Booker, Allen
SF: Dunn, Royce
PF: KD, Martin
C: Richards or Plumlee, Oso
I don’t think I need to see Beal the rest of the season. Find some time for Bol if you can. Only one of Richard’s/Plumlee and Tyus/Monte needs to play. Or they can share minutes. Gillespie and Oso need a consistent 20 minutes each game.

I've been as critical of Bud as anyone, maybe moreso, but we know the NBA is more than just coaching basketball. It's managing personalities, sometimes decisions come from the FO or above, or there are things we just don't see because we're not in practice or with the team all the time. So I'll give him some benefit of the doubt, especially given this is a veteran team with title aspirations. It'd be hard for any coach to just pull certain guys off the floor and go with rooks 20-25 games into the season. And even tho we benched Nurk and ended up bringing Beal and Tyus off the bench, those felt like half-measures and we still didn't dedicate minutes to Oso and Dunn until now.
I still think he needs to go because of he just doesn't seem like the right fit, his in-game decisions haven't been great and his rotations/sub patterns have sucked most of the year. But it wouldn't surprise me if personnel decisions didn't necessarily come from him.

You're most likely right... Bud's hands are tied I'm sure to some extent. If so and depending on how much; I could see them running another season with Bud if we dump KD. The more I see KD and Bud interact, the more I think removing that rift might help somewhat.
