Acquiring Corey Brewer and Terrence Jones would be AWFUL.

So, so bad. And I'm really worried it's going to happen.

I don't want either player. Brewer looks washed and has 3 years left. Jones is an RFA to be with dollar signs in his eyes.

What's the scouting report on Terrence Jones? I've seen a fair bit of Brewer to know that he's not doing much for this franchise right now, but I imagine he's part of the conversation for salary matching purposes...? What's the rest of his contract look like?

Jones has been horrible on defense and erratic offensively.

Brewer is an overpaid energy guy with a shaky jump shot. He's a poor fit for this roster.

Guess this is more of a change of scenery thing for both teams. I can't imagine the Suns wanting to hang onto Brewer, but he could be something other teams wanting more wing depth will want, if his contract is friendly. Jones, if he walks at the end of the season, I wouldn't be too bothered. At least chemistry-wise he's an upgrade over Markieff, and in theory he should not be stunting any of our other young assets since he's strictly a 4...

if terrence jones is good, he wont want to stay with this tanking team.

If Terrence Jones was good, he wouldn't get traded.

Props to Hornacek for trying but sadly it's useless now. It's too late for such rotation juggling. PJ at PF, twin towers with Chandler-Len, Knight as 6th man, etc could have been useful during the first weeks when we were competing and games were decided by a couple of details, but that's not the case anymore. We are the worst team in the league, period.

At this point I don't even care about who is coaching. Hornacek, Watson, D'Antoni, Thibs, whatever. Red Auerbach wouldn't turn this mess around so before you change the HC the roster needs to be purged.

Average score during the nine-game losing streak: 109.8 – 95.8.

Wow, a 22 point first half. Ties a record or something. Congrats Suns!

The mood in the locker room must be great about now.

If we're going to trade for anyone from Houston I'd much rather it be Clint Capela.

I thought the Kings game was rock bottom...

I'd try and firesale whatever we can. BKnight to the Knicks, Kieff and Tucker anywhere. I'd keep Chandler tho, at least for another year if we're starting from scratch,

I'd try and nab Schroder from Atlanta since there seems to be something going on there. We still have our pick and Booker is locked in at the 2. Leuer's a keeper, still have Len to develop. We're not in terrible shape, just need to start trimming the fat.

I'd add Leuer to the list of keepers. Really like his game.

Chandler is way done. We need out from that contract as soon as possible.

How does it seem every game nowadays is a whole new rock bottom? No parachute on this freefall?

Was just going to mention Leuer - his versatility off the bench on a decent team is an opponent's nightmare and he's a bargain, even with a substantial raise.

But yeah - it's pretty much fire sale time. Picks, prospects and expirings are what needs to come back.

Way worse than IT. At least IT was an efficient scorer for us.

You realize the Lakers want to lose, right? If we beat them, we're giving them what they want.

Unfortunately for the Lakers, no Kobe tonight. Without his 17 FGA a game on 34% shooting, they're going to find it difficult to lose to a team as crappy as we've been playing.
Good thing we didn't give them what they wanted!
