Pretty Ironic that you just posted a double negative:)
Lol. That's horrible. My hiatus is about to turn into a self-imposed ban.

Agreed on both. Esp. Turner. He needs the ball in his hands to be Effective IMO. How does that happen with C.J. and DAM? Even in a perfect situation thats too much money for Turner, but Portland just isn't a great fit.

I like Crabbe....but now your tying up 145 mil in two players that are secondary options at best.

And for the record, INF. I don't want to you leave. I respect your basketball opinion (even if that's not very apparent from my last outburst. :P )

How bout the Celtics renouncing the rights to Jared Sullinger making hi a UFA? Little surprised by that.

I hate how so many in sports think if they just spend a whole bunch of money it is "trying to win" or being committed to winning. If it isn't smart or worthwhile spending, it's worse than not spending at all.

I'm not threatening anyone or anything. I'm simply saying, with the climate becoming what it is, it's probably best I take a break. I don't want this board to become filled with posts complaining about how others post. It's funny because I don't ever recall ever criticizing someone for being positive. Yet there are plenty that complain about my negativity. I engage people's opinions and discuss why I may or may not agree with them. If someone wants to tell me why I am wrong about Bender, Ulis, or Chriss, be my guest. But just griping just because my opinion is negative gets tiresome and silly.
major word. It's ok to say everything is rosy but not ok to say some things aren't. Double standard.

It's gross. Happy about it as a Suns fan, though.

How bout that 2012 Celtic draft class? Fab Melo,Sully, and Joseph. None are still there. Ainge has had some rough classes lately.

That's actually very true. For some reason people really hate to hear anything that ain't positive about their own team. If these posts were about another team, people wouldn't be blinking an eye.

It's amazing how well Boston is doing. I look at that roster and it just reeks. Outside of Olynyk (who hasn't even been a consistent contributor) and Isaiah Thomas, there really isn't anyone on that team that I would want. Maybe Crowder.

No fire. No gas. I'm really bothered by how thin skinned people are around here. Plenty of us that don't think Ryan is amazing have said some negative things. And some positive things. But people complain when it is negative because they don't like hearing a thing bad about their team. It bothers me because the last thing this place should be is a place where we all just agree and circle jerk each other. I come here for different takes on my favorite team. I hate to see people bitching about opinions just because they are different. INF has never been doom and gloom. Most things he says are about a year ahead of the rest of the board, meaning most people agree with his takes, but it takes another year for most of us to see what he sees.

I guess it throws heaps of praise on Stevens. Somebody posted a great article about him in the not too distant past. He seems to be a rock star coach.

I don't like olynyk either. But I do like what Ainge did in assembling all those draft picks. Yes, I know...you have to do something with them, but he has/had the assets to make a major move he just hasn't.

Also I think Brad stevens deserves alot of credit. Just a really good coach on any level.

You can find several posts a day bemoaning a take about the team that is negative. Despite the vast majority of posts being positive.

On the other side, not the case. Do you see anyone complaining about takes because they are overly optimistic?

You guys just went after the dude defending Mcdonaugh in the other thread. Well I shouldn't say "went after" but you called him out. I have no problem with that whatsoever. But that was a guy being positive and you differing with his opinion, how is that different then what happens here? I don't get it. I would argue the thin skin is the other way around.
