I have no doubt he would. But now that his production is in question, you don't think his character had anything to do with no team giving him a chance?
According to Woj you are right, but I don't believe it. I think teams were using it as an excuse not to take the risk.

That really, really sucks for him. It was a bad summer to be a FA but looking over his stats I can't see how he isn't worth more than the minimum. He rebounded well. He was never a particularly gifted scorer. Hopefully next year is a player option and he can get himself a decent contract when everyone has money to throw around again.
It does suck for him, but sometimes greed catches up to you. That contract offer last year was ridiculous; Noel hadn't done anything to remotely justify getting that kind of a deal. He is better than the minimum, but he also can't stay healthy, so that is going to stand in the way of him getting a big payday.
Hopefully its the beginning of the end for Klutch.

I don't want that. I don't like the way they do business, but I am not going to root for their failure. I am content to just stay away from their clients.

The NBA should ABSOLUTELY adopt this immediately. It makes perfect sense.

RE Cousins to Warriors: ugh. I'm a Warrior fan second, but I don't want to see every random talented FA sign there for less than their market value. This is bad for the NBA.
If he is still hobbled by his injury, they lose nothing; they have plenty of talent. And if he recovers to most of his usual self, they will be absolutely unstoppable. It is no risk and all reward. No other team has that luxury.

So Boogie was available for a bit over the minimum and instead we sign a 33 year old stick to $15m...fire McD now, clearly useless. *sarcasm*

I wonder what kind of deal Brook Lopez is going to get.
I am also interested to see what happens Jabari Parker. I think he would be a good addition to Utah.

That is such a bad take. The Hornets were hitting their stride when Boogie went down. Before his injury they had won 10 of their last 13 games. After he went down, they lost 5 of their next 6 before adjusting to his loss.

Arvydas Sabonis suffered an achilles and he went to be pretty successful. Now, getting back to your 100% is probably unheard of.

I was thinking they might be a good team for him. Nobody else on the roster who can score, a lot of young guys who will defer and if Bamba can just defend for now, it'll help IT's lack of D.

Apparently, Cousins did not get any offer from any team in the NBA, so he reached out to the Warriors.
