I just think it’s funny how different each report is.
We’ve heard that we’re after Hunter/Culver and might trade up for Hunter. We heard that we were interested in Garland and then that was redacted and we’re after White. We like Clarke. We aren’t trading the 6th pick, but some say it’s still available. Jackson and Warren are both on the table and not on the table. Yes to Russell, no to Russell. We’ve heard everything. I have no real idea on what we’re doing. The only thing I feel somewhat confident on is Oubre returning. Outside of that, who knows.
Having no idea what the organization is going to do is a welcome (if brief) change from knowing with certainty that they were going to screw things up.
This. Unless the 12 reports saying we are going to draft White come true.

This is great and exactly how I'd run the organization from a media news/rumors perspective.
It's too early to know whether it's intentional or not because we'll need to see what happens in the next few months.
Agreed, it’s not a bad thing we don’t know. That probably means other teams do not know either. The only two explanations are that we have no clue what we’re doing, or we're intentionally putting out incorrect information to cover our tracks. Just hope ultimately the decision we make prices to be right.

I think we’re all going to be pleasantly surprised.

Bone, you always think that. You are our eternal optimist. I hope you are right.

Now that I read that, it can come across as complaining or accusatory. But I typed it with love.

Is Dinwiddie just trolling suns fans?
It seems to me that he has privately requested a trade to the Suns, but he’s not allowed to publicly demand a trade without being fined (see AD). Instead he just keeps hinting at it.
There are a lot of teams that use purple besides the Suns, notably the Lakers who were probably his favorite childhood team since he grew up in LA.

Heh. Don’t worry, I read it with love.

And when I wrote my post, I was thinking to myself, I don’t know what’s going to happen but heck, might as well think it into existence while keeping my reputation alive.

Nah, if you read his sequence of tweets, he was definitely talking Suns. At one point he offered to buy George King’s jersey number 8.

Ya he’s been responding to suns media guys as well. He’s been talking about the suns...I think he’s just having fun though.

My wild guess would be that some talks involving him got traction, he bought into the idea of comig here, but ultimately the deal was not enough for Brooklyn, and he is teasing the Suns into improving it, by making it clear to fans and media that he wants to come here.

Is there any chance we get both Russell and Dinwiddie from the Nets? Perhaps by a combination of a trade and an FA signing? We have been linked to both guards. I would take either or both in our rotation, though the money might not work.

If Brooklyn can't keep them together, it seems unlikely the Suns would want to.

We only need Dinwiddie. Getting both would be pointless.

Less than 3 days until the draft and nobody has a clue who we’re picking.
Could this mean the Suns themselves have no clue because they have no scouting department?

No. It means there is a ton of uncertainty starting at 4 with New Orleans.

Should the Phoenix Suns consider a reunion with Isaiah Thomas?

It's a no lose situation only if we trade them the waterboy for them, cause that screams Suns, as it's another flounder to get something so we can say we're doing something, even though we appear as though we have no plans or clue as to what we're doing.
Remember the excitement at drafts when Colangelo et all would so often find somebody that we could get interested in from a Michael Finley...to the year they games everybody and got Amar'e...to snagging Nash. When was the last time we felt that kind of hope and optimism with this team? It literally feels like forever.

I'm with ya Jeremy...that's how it feels to me too ..like we're floundering without something obvious, so our master plan is another year of the damage of tanking and praying for a better lottery ball since Ja didn't fall into our laps...
