3. Bridges
4. Cam
Re: Suns News: Offseason
One of these 4 gets jettisoned into space in a CP3 deal, never to be seen or experienced again. Which one do you choose?
1. Coronavirus
2. Poverty
3. War
4. Oubre

#10. Chances this pick delivers a player better than Oubre are slim. Bridges is out of question. Cam has showed he is pretty valuable too.Drewsprocket wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 6:50 pmIf one has to go in the OKC deal, who ya got?

Actually, if OKC is adamant that they want some decent draft capital back, instead of using the pick this year I am willing to give up a future 1stR with relevant protection (like lotto protected for two-three years, eventually two seconds; I am paying for CP3 taking us to the playoffs, otherwise it's not fair OKC gets a 1stR).
Still, the fact that they are letting Paul basically negotiate the deal himself gives me vibes that OKC wants to do him a solid and is not going to make stupid demands; after all they'd be moving 80M+ owed to a 35 year old, but this is Presti so fleecing is never out of question.

hahaha
Yeah, rona is deadly, poverty is a tragedy and war... well, war never changes. But Oubre likes to flex so...

Re: Suns News: Offseason
Depending on what we're sending out, giving up the 10th wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me if we're getting Paul. I'd definitely want their 25th pick this year tho and their pick either next year or in 2022 and would even give some protections (top 5 next year, top 8 the year after or something). Saves us some money dropping 10 to 25, OKC is probably a lotto team in '21 or '22 so if the protections aren't too crazy we could pick up an extra pick when we maybe need it more.
Re: Suns News: Offseason
If Dallas is involved as rumored, maybe we can move their pick as OKC’s compensation? Or perhaps we get 18, OKC gets 10, Dallas gets 25? We could probably still get one of Bane, Bey, or Nesmith at 18.

I had a rough draft concept of this joke in my head but it involved Hitler instead. I lost interest after about 15 seconds. Yours was better anyway.

Re: Suns News: Offseason
I agree, they would be competing for a top 3 seed if they add a couple good FAs.

Re: Suns News: Offseason
I don"t think Dallas would get a pick back in this instance.

this was all fantastic
Re: Suns News: Offseason
That's possible, but it may come down to how much cap space they need in FA, and the Suns being ok to sacrifice one of them or both of them.

Seconded; bravo. Saucey's reaction was funny, too. Took it well. Good stuff all around.
Re: Suns News: Offseason
I have always found Skip Bayless to be appalling. His takes here are...well umm...not terrible i guess. I appreciate the national recognition but who is this "lights out" shooter Jevon Carter he speaks of
Carter had a great bubble but I think we're a large sample size away from calling him a lights out shooter. I do like he acknowledges Cam and Bridges also.

Re: Suns News: Offseason
I don't like Bayless. He's so grouchy and just decides he hates a player or team and then proceeds to trash them for 20 years no matter what they do. He seems way too stubborn and set in his opinions. As one example, I don't love Lebron, but seeing Skip Bayless talk smack about Lebron every moment he gets the slightest chance to do so has been uncomfortable to watch.djy2j wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 9:37 amI have always found Skip Bayless to be appalling. What do you think? Interesting win total changes in this.
