Carlisle played for Boston and was an assistant under Bird in Indy before he went to Detroit. Maybe Portland makes a play. Not sure if he'd work in Orlando since they're further away from competing.

If I were him, I wouldn't want to go to Portland until they fix their roster (or commit to you in that regard). Orlando--Ugh. He seems too old for Boston, but you never know. I am doubting he is what Zion wants in a coach... Just not sure where he goes. But he should be #1 on the list.

If I'm the Kings I fire Walton and hire Carlisle immediately.
The Pacers are kind of a mess too and the Wiz are out there but also kind of a mess. I doubt he'd be a good fit in NOLA.
Also Bucher mentioned just now if the Bucks lose then maybe Bud gets fired. Carlisle has ties to the Bucks GM from Detroit.

Yeah, but it is the kings. Maybe if they give him a guaranteed 5 year deal. But I can't see them doing it.
