Hahaha, I think my LeBron trade is winning worst reaction so far…or this OG one hahaShadowHawke wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:40 pmI think we should have a contest conjuring up trade scenarios for DA or just reporting online conjecture. Trades must be legal in terms of salary cap. Winner is whoever can get the worst reaction from Saucy.

Hornets - Deandre Ayton
Suns - Kelly Oubre Jr.
Ya Barnes is headed for superstardom, he’s pretty easily their most untouchable piece. He’s a 6’7 playmaking wing that defends all over the court and made huge strides with his shot. He’s like a potential 24/8/8 guy someday.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:28 pmDeal.
FWIW, I think Barnes will be the best player on the Raptors next season and the Raptors value him as such. There's no way they'd trade him for Ayton.
Ya that would take the cake hahaFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:43 pmToo easy.

Somehow, you need to work Nader in there too. Or maybe throw in Mike James as well.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:43 pmToo easy.

Yeah, lets get a bunch of old broken down guys for him. Perfect.Vladimir_Taltos wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 5:17 pmSince this is trade proposal mania these days...
DA to Houston for 3,17...and...hmmm...John Wall and/or Schroder? Gordon?
VT
Then the Suns should insist on him being included in an Ayton trade.Split T wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:51 pmYa Barnes is headed for superstardom, he’s pretty easily their most untouchable piece. And how exactly is that helpful if Gobert's FT% is worse than his FG%?Indy wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:13 pmThat is a really good point. But the strategy works well for the Jazz. He scores 4.6 ppg from the line on only 7.7 total FGAs. Ayton only gets 1.8 ppg from the line while taking 12.0 FGAs.JeremyG wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 3:59 pmIt makes sense if you think about it. If he gets more offensive rebounds, doesn't pass out of them, and takes less FGA, then that's probably because teams are fouling him when he gets the offensive rebounds. He isn't a great free throw shooter. In fact, teams have even played hack-a-Rudy at times.
Who says he feels comfortable doing that consistently yet, or that that is the best position for him to create a shot from? He's usually at the three-point line or close to it. Even if he has the option, they're not running that for him or because of him, they're running it primarily for Book or someone else and he knows that. Monty has not utilized or developed him offensively enough because that's not how his system works.Indy wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:17 pmI know everyone is probably getting sick of me saying this, but DA has a chance to create his own shot a dozen times every single game with the DHO plays we run. But he doesn't do that except for maybe once a week.
Turner is fine if they're bringing in a star wing/PF. There are better options available if not.Drewsprocket wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 5:28 pmThere are desirable players with specific teams I’d take on for Ayton:
Indiana has two deals or one bug one I’d pull-
Turner + their 1st for Ayton
Saric, Shamet, protected 1st for Brogdan
Charlotte- Ayton for Rozier + PJ Washington or anyway to get Miles Bridges
Nets: KD for Ayton + Cam J + change
Yea the injuries are a concern. But we need this level or player to replace CP3 when he’s injured, who can play in any 3 guard lineup, AND defend.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 5:57 pmTurner is fine if they're bringing in a star wing/PF. I have next to zero interest in Brogdon. He can't stay healthy and he's over qualified and overpaid for a 3rd guard.
Bridges is ideal, but not realistic due to cap and free agency limitations. I'm intrigued by Rozier, but I'd need at least one more rotation player and a lottery pick to be satisfied.
KD is a no-brainer. I'd balk at Ayton and Mikal for him, but I think I'd ultimately accept it if Ayton was in his feeling so much that he just wants out of Phoenix above all else.
