Trump is found in contempt of court. The judge issues him a fairly small fine, $1000 per violation for 9 violations. Sounds like no jail time. Slap on the wrist. Edit: Apparently $1K is the state maximum fine for such a violation? And the judge warns Trump that he might be jailed if he does it again, and orders him to remove all 9 of the Truth Social posts.

His base loves it. Jail time would be the cherry on top.

BTW, it looks like due to the way the schedule has turned out in the Trump hush money trial, the judge has in fact granted Trump leave to attend his son Barron's high school graduation after all. So there's no need to whine about that particular injustice any more.

It was a dumb decision from the jump, but good to see that Trump will be able to attend his son's graduation.

I'm surprised he wants to go. Seriously. His son is graduating. Not him. Maybe he really doesn't but knew he could get some news out of it.

My guess is that he makes it to this fundraiser and ditches his son's graduation, despite this being a source of much crying and whining by Trump supporters in past weeks.

Stormy Daniels is testifying in the case today. Apparently Trump is quite upset/mad about her testimony. He "Truthed" complaining about her as a witness and then deleted it a few minutes later (probably on advice of his lawyers). And he's been shaking his head and looking angry in the courtroom itself as she testifies. She is saying some pretty embarrassing things about Trump and things he said to her about Melania, his marriage, etc. Let's all recall that Trump has lied repeatedly about all of this, and yet Joe Biden is somehow the lyingest President the country has ever had. Yup.
