As an art project it’s impressive. Even more impressive… Considering he did all of the teams, all stars and team USA…. I like his thoughtfulness he put into creating them too.

There was some supposed wrangling between Malone and the front office over this extension but in the end, Murray got his money.

I like Murray a lot, but he doesn't seem like a guy who will be playing at a top level well into his late 30s. I would be slightly worried about committing so much money to him. But he's only 27 now, so he will probably still be playing at a high level through the life of this contract barring major injury. And I'm not sure what better options Denver has rather than rewarding and retaining its own top talent that took it to an NBA title.

Giving Murray the max is whatever…the real issue was letting KCP walk and losing Bruce Brown. Murray has a checkered playoff history with Denver…some massive highs(bubble, title year), missed seasons(2021 and 2022), and a dud last year. I think he's a good player that Jokic makes look like a great one.

I'm definitely someone who thinks Murray is kinda overrated but I guess Denver had to give him that money. If their younger players like Braun and Strawther can ste up and take the load off him, I think it'll help his game but he's gotta prove his injuries are behind him. For some reason he's beginning to remind me of KJ.

Is he even much better than Tyler Herro?
