What did you guys think of Bledsoe's severe disappointment about his benching last year?
First of all, I totally understand. The guy is a competitor. There is no way he should be happy or content with that. That being said, any way the Suns would entertain that again? Next year's draft is shaping up to be even deeper than this one. It seems to me that they had better trade him by the deadline if they have any thoughts of doing it again. I suppose the decision will be informed again by how we perform before the all-star break.

Of course. It all depends on how we play but I expect at least 2 of our 4 older veterans will be gone by the deadline anyway.Superbone wrote:What did you guys think of Bledsoe's severe disappointment about his benching last year?

I want him to want to play. I'm fine with him being upset/disappointed about it. Hopefully the org has sat down with him and tried to work it out together. They might not have J.Jackson without Bledsoe resting the end of the year. What did you guys think of Bledsoe's severe disappointment about his benching last year?

I wouldn't want a player on my team that wasn't unhappy with being shut down for the season without a health reason.

I loved his disappointment and thought he couldn't have communicated it better in that interview.Superbone wrote:What did you guys think of Bledsoe's severe disappointment about his benching last year?

And I agree that if we are in a situation to bench our Bledsoe again next season, we should move on from him.

Wow. I wonder why they wouldn't reward him with a guaranteed deal?

Suns want cap flexibility. If we need need the space for a max deal, we'll part ways.

Ulis’ health
McDonough said Ulis, who underwent ankle surgery in mid-May, should be fully healthy for training camp. He said Ulis, who has added 10 pounds, is expected to be cleared to participate in five-on-five drills sometime in August.
Len’s status
McDonough said the Suns are still waiting to here from Len after extending him a one-year, $4.2 million qualifying offer.
“It’s up to Alex and his agent,” McDonough said. “It’s on the table. We’d like to have him back.”

Re: Suns News: The Offseason
We offered Len the QO and are waiting to hear back? That's it? We haven't even offered a multi-year deal?
Come on. For all of Len's flaws, I'd definitely offer him more than 4.2/1. Opening with nothing more than the QO is an insult.

I kind of agree. Williams gets more $ that after playing half the minutes. Len has to be looking at the Williams contract and thinking he at least gets that.Cap wrote:We offered Len the QO and are waiting to hear back? That's it? We haven't even offered a multi-year deal?

“We’re certainly open to discussing different scenarios, potentially. But one way or another, we’d like to have him back.”

Re: Suns News: The Offseason
I thought this was an interesting trade proposal.
https://valleyofthesuns.com/2017/07/27/ ... enix-suns/
The problems I see are that New York gives up too much, basically gutting their team, but maybe they would like to do that. The other problem is that it's been reported that Melo has his heart set on Houston and refuses to waive his no trade clause for any team other than Houston. From the Suns perspective, I think they would probably do it. I'm not sure that Cleveland would do it, as they believe that they should get a Kings ransom for Kyrie.

KP and Leaky? I'd be very tempted. The cost is high, but so is the potential.
