This post is not displaying for me actually. Not sure if it’s a quirk with the board. Every time the browser asks me if I want to download some embedded video.

No idea why he would want to retire. It’s not like he has a fear of flying like that one Houston rookie many years ago.

Yeah, I get that too. I used the quote function to get the URL to read the story.

Oh, and if you do download the video: it’s 0 KB.

Some speculation about Griffin is that he's very religious, posted some questionable things and wasn't really fitting in with teammates or NBA culture. His 2 year old nephew also passed away last summer, which is tragic enough, and there's some family turmoil that's gone along with it. Not to mention the fact that he kind of fell out of favor with both of his Hawks coaches before being traded. He's also talked about depression, anxiety and a porn addiction. So there seems to be a lot going on, on and off the court. Maybe he just needs some time away.

Porn addiction seems to be a real epidemic lately. If it can happen to Griffin and specialsauce, it can happen to anybody.

You know who that rookie is you're thinking of? Royce White. He's made headlines for all the wrong reasons lately including being covered by John Oliver for saying this...

I just know Shamet is going to kill us every time we play the Knicks and it will be all of you guys' fault.

Knicks also signed Marcus Morris. He and Shamet are on Exhibit 9 contracts so neither are guaranteed. So that's Cam Payne, Mikal Bridges, Landry Shamet, Marcus Morris and Keita Bates-Diop all on the Knicks roster right now.

Good for them. I love me some Mikal and would be happy to see him become a successful and beloved Knick. Maybe being on that team will get him some national attention and get people talking about how good he is. I'm excited for him. I may watch a few Knick games just to see some of the old crew.

He's in a much better spot on the Knicks as a high level #3 or #4 where he can get back to playing his game as opposed to being a #1 on a bad team in Brooklyn. The only thing I'm not crazy about is him playing the 2 but it probably won't be a big deal.

Good for Woj. I wonder what he'll do next. And who becomes the new Woj (no flex; real answers only)?

Maybe Bob Myers?
