I could be wrong, but I think that's a description of a different Duke center.

Williams is 7’2 with a 7’7 wingspan…who are you thinking of?In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 7:19 amI could be wrong, but I think that's a description of a different Duke center.
A few years ago when Durant was still in Brooklyn and was in the playoffs they were considered one of the top teams to win it all. They had beat the Celtics in round 1 4-1 and came up against the Bucks in round 2. They lost game 6, were tied 3-3 and game 7 went to OT. I remember watching it and the game before and when it looked like they were going to lose I saw Durant joking around even with players from the other team. I thought at the time that was why they were going to lose was because in these types of battles everyone on the other team is your enemy. Of course I had stepped away from basketball during the 2010's and had not seen him in GS so this was the impression I had of him. And also of course I forgot all about this when the Suns traded for him. But now it is a memory burned into my raging brain. It hurts even worse because they should have won and then beat Atlanta in the conf finals. But you all remember what happened after that.

You talking about game 7 when KD played without Kyrie and had a broken Harden, but scored 48 points and only lost becasuse his toe was on the line? He dominated that game and almost single handedly beat the eventual champions.JJ Slim wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 9:20 amA few years ago when Durant was still in Brooklyn and was in the playoffs they were considered one of the top teams to win it all. Mark Williams is 7'0" tall with a 7'6.5" wingspan.Split T wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 7:59 amWilliams is 7’2 with a 7’7 wingspan…who are you thinking of?In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 7:19 amI could be wrong, but I think that's a description of a different Duke center.
Yep that's the game. I don't question his skills. I question his leadership and seriousness. I mean it's like he is saying "I'll try my hardest to win but if we don't it's just another day at the office"Split T wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 9:50 amYou talking about game 7 when KD played without Kyrie and had a broken Harden, but scored 48 points and only lost becasuse his toe was on the line? I guess the 7’2 is with shoes…I just pulled it from google and rounded up the wingspan. He does have a higher standing reach than Wemby though at 9’9In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 10:08 amMark Williams is 7'0" tall with a 7'6.5" wingspan.Split T wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 7:59 amWilliams is 7’2 with a 7’7 wingspan…who are you thinking of?In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 7:19 amI could be wrong, but I think that's a description of a different Duke center.
I thought you might have been talking about Khaman Maluach, who is 7'2".
That KD isn't the KD we have now. Laughing on the bench after being down 40 is awesome. F**k this team.JJ Slim wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 10:17 amYep that's the game. I don't question his skills.
