I thought Gambo said a deal was getting done this week. Whooops.
Last I checked it’s only Thursday. Sunday is a long way off.
Plus, Gambo already admitted that he may be wrong on this.

I’m cool with Miami’s deal if we get Jovic and Ware. Not a fan of Wiggins so if they reroute him for something else that’d be cool but not mad if he comes here. Only gots 2 years left, lines up with Beal expiring. 90 million expiring? Yes, please. Because of that, I’m cool with Rozier and his expiring contract too instead of Wiggs if that means extra draft capital or both Jovic and Ware. Dont get Gambo talking shit on Ware tho haha. Maybe they want to reroute both Wiggs and Ware for a win now piece?

I still think the Toronto deal is the best deal by a mile but part of me thinks it’s a fake cuz otherwise I don’t see why we haven’t jumped on it already.
Maybe they really want Dick? And they are trying to find a way to fit him in?

It will be a long and hard process, and Toronto will ask for a stiff price, but I bet we will be able to erect a deal for him. I for one would love to have a player with his smooth stroke and ball-handling. Someone who takes it to the hole and gets Mike Breen to cry out, "Puts it in!" and "Bang!" If we agree to a trade without him in it, it'd be a real boner.

Gambo was blowing smoke for the org to make it seem like there was a bidding war when there wasn't. More than likely, all the negotiations took place 2-3 weeks ago - Suns told those teams what they wanted, HOU/SA/MIA said "this is what we're giving you" - and talks stalled while Gambo and the rest of the NBA media put out old info to keep the headlines flowing and maybe get some of the teams talking again.
Suns have been fked with KD for a while because of this extension. We have no leverage and as much as I want to be pissed at KD and his diva bullsht, it's ownership and the FO that made this bed and now we all get to sleep it in.
I fully expect Ishbia to take some shtty Heat deal and try to spin it positively.

I'd rather read about Wally's dick fetish than click that play button.
Can we just not post his nonsense? There's enough of that going around here anyway.
It’s interesting that a lot of us like the Toronto trade but Gambo doesn’t.

Gambo's told what to like and what to talk up. To be fair tho, I'm not sure how much Toronto is really in play.

I don't get it with Toronto. If they add KD to their current team (minus the assets they trade to get him), they aren't a contender; not even close. So why are they interested? And it seems like there would be a high chance of KD leaving after just one year. This wouldn't be a Kawhi situation where they win a title and then the star leaves. They would have a middling mediocre season and then just lose their assets for nothing. Why would they want that?
I'm wondering if Toronto is just doing our front office a favor and acting interested in KD in order to raise other teams' offers. That seems like a weird 4D chess thing to do, but that's my best guess. Otherwise KD to Toronto makes no sense for them.
