Look at that video? It's basically the drive to the arena or something mixed with highlights. Getting that guy to open up must be like pulling teeth.

What a puff piece. "He says he wants to win and I can tell by the look on his face he means it" is the best they can come up with?

Penny got a seven year, about 90M contract.
Indy wrote:
Was that a sign and trade?
It was, but I guess it fits under the criteria 'never before worn a Suns jersey' as in contract inked not inherited.

I'm guessing that technically the Suns didn't give him the contract.

He
only had 85. Cousins had 91.

It's just 41 seconds, so listen to it. It's a professional, respectful, generic non-response of the kind you're supposed to give. Archie was asked about the rumors, and simply responded that he doesn't know anything about that, but Markieff's a great teammate and he looks forward to continuing to play with him. Of course, Keef thinks this is something to gloat about on Twitter.

At least Archie shows maturity in how he answers the question.

If only his game were as mature as his mouth.

And Keef calls it a "true fact".

Sure, he's a great guy and teammate with his teammates. That doesn't mean he isn't a knucklehead off the court and didn't use brain when he called out the fans or tried to condone the bad actions of his brother. I've said this since he was drafted, I don't think Kieff will ever become a high level starter in this league. I think his best role is going to be a sixth man type roll off the bench. He will be very good for someone in that role someday.

I am there too. And, honestly, it won't be for us. So the sooner we move on, the better.

Piece from Bright Side of the Sun asking: Can the next Phoenix Suns star come from within?
Interestingly it rates Booker as the best chance of being a star (40%).
More interestingly, it doesn't look at Markieff at all.

Right now it's pretty even at 31% a piece for Warren and Booker.

Markieff Tweeted that this is an unreal fact.

The Kings are banking on it, as they want to pair him with WCS. Cousins certainly has uncharacteristic mobility for that size, but if opposite teams move him around with a pick and roll stretch 4, his conditioning will be tested.

AZCentral has a ranking of the most popular Phoenix sports figures. There is not a single Sun on the list. Hopefully the team's likeability is turning the corner. I could see Chandler/Knight/Booker getting there with more time.

As long as they are not going to win, they could at least be likable while they are losing.
