I wouldn't trade Kelly for 2 straight up, so no way I do Kelly and 10 for 2.Vladimir_Taltos wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 2:46 amNot certain on this, but for giggles...
Kelly and 10 to Golden State as has been discussed for the 2 ..but take Toppin with the second pick? Just passing time...

Jones noted he’s looking to add shooting when it comes to the Nov. 18 draft. The Suns have the 10th overall pick. Stanford’s Tyrell Terry and TCU’s Desmond Bane have had lengthy conversations with the Suns during the draft process.
Terry shot 40.8% from 3 in his one and only season at Stanford while Bane knocked down 44.2% of his 3s his senior year at TCU.
“They’re going to play open basketball and 3-point shooting is going to become a premium for them,” TCU coach Jamie Dixon said earlier this fall. “I think (Bane) fits there. I think he fits the culture. I think he fits what they’re looking for in character. That’s what I understand they’re looking for. A big part of it is character on and off the floor.”
You'd get maybe Bane and probably Terry at 14, don't think either will be at 26. Bane is a well coached upperclassmen so I see why we'd be high on him. Terry could be a sleeper and from interviews I think would fit in well on the team even tho he's 20.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 1:27 pmI’m sure James Jones is salivating at the idea of adding Desmond Bane. He’s just 100% his type of guy. I’d be pretty happy with Terry too. If you could somehow move 10 to Boston for 14 and 26 and draft both? I’d call that a win. Boston would need their guy to be available at 10 though.
I wasn’t on the big on the trade down talk but as we get closer I think this might be the best route. 10 for 14 & 26 is totally fair.ShelC wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:42 pmYou'd get maybe Bane and probably Terry at 14, don't think either will be at 26. So would they not take Hayes if he fell to them in the draft because he is not an elite shooter? Is James Jones trying to Moneyball the Suns roster?Superbone wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 1:14 pmFrom AZ Republic:

Left/right politics aside, I always think it's fun when the President is athletic. For example, I was quite surprised and impressed when W Bush threw out the first pitch at a baseball game and it whizzed right over home plate, right in the strike zone. And Obama is known to like playing pickup basketball.
Ya, you’re right, I doubt either would make it to 26. We’d have to trade back up if we wanted both. Bane does seem to be rising, I was always a little surprised he was so low in he first place. I didn’t know who he was and I’d hear him mentioned as a sleeper. I expected to find a good shooter who was limited elsewhere, but turns out he’s a pretty good hard nosed defender and has some real passing chops as well. He’s also not just a good shooter, but I’d say a top 2-3 shooter in this class. I think his range is 10-18. He makes way too much sense for Dallas at 18, I’d be surprised if they let him slip past them.ShelC wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:42 pmYou'd get maybe Bane and probably Terry at 14, don't think either will be at 26. True. If Trump took the shot, it would be at least 2 feet short. GUARANTEED!Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 8:55 amLeft/right politics aside, I always think it's fun when the President is athletic. I think Achiuwa can be a pretty elite defensive player. He’s gonna be able to potentially defend 1-5. The offense is a big question though. I read that he thinks himself to be a Pascal Siakim type, but haven’t seen that yet. Can’t really shoot at this point. If he was willing to just defend like crazy and be a roll man on defense, I could see him as a backup at the 4/5. Feel like guard is more important though.Vladimir_Taltos wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 10:59 amIf Hayes and Haliburton are gone and we don't want to move up...why not Achiwua at 10? Likely this has been brought up, but I'm bored and lazy...so......
