I’m not sure I agree with that interpretation of the tweet. It could be Trumps motivation…I think he also might just think he is the only one equipped to deal with Putin

This is a really shameful message by Trump. He's basically broadcasting to Putin, "please keep this hostage captive until / unless I become President, then release him." He's cutting deals with authoritarian leaders of enemy nations.

That's not what he's doing. Biden could make the same deal, but he has no interest.

One journalist for free reign over Ukraine. What a "deal"...

I don’t believe Putin is done with his gifts for Trump yet.

I can't wait to hear how deep Trump really was with Putin when all is said and done. Later when the facts come out.

Right? That's why you should be embarrassed for yourself.

The Ukraine war keeps slowly escalating. France is almost ready to send in troops.

Biden already authorized Ukraine to strike inside Russia with US weapons. He wants to start WWIII so bad, so he can suspend the election and stay in power, imo.

Maybe he just doesn't want to let Ukraine lose to Russia and collapse as a democracy.

Nah, that couldn't be it. Old man Biden has a thirst for power and wants to remain president for decades to come.

Yes, if Trump was President Putin would have another ally to depend on.

That makes total sense, since Putin invaded Ukraine while Trump was in office, and he just let it happen. I mean, look at all the wars he got us into. Thank goodness for Biden for keeping us safe and out of wars.

Yeah, I remember. They already invaded Crimea before he got there. They had been fighting off Russia for awhile. That’s where Trump started his mafia boss impersonation. The US was sending weapons to help Ukraine and Trump decided to extort them into announcing they were investigating Biden. He was impeached for that.

Then Russia massed their troops along the border of Ukraine. Biden kept saying Russia was going to invade. You said he was just fear mongering and was crazy. Then Russia invaded and you said it was a peacekeeping mission. Trump called Putin’s invasion a genius move.

You're right, I did say that and I also said I was wrong.

When did they invade Crimea the first time and who was the President at the time? You would have thought he would have had carte blanche to invade during the next guy, since he's a clearly controlled by Putin.
