I know I am in the minority, but if we already decided we had to trade Goran, and we knew we weren't bringing back Green, there is no reason to trade IT. He is a very good microwave off the bench, for a very good price.Needless to speak about how IT3 turned out.

There's no way Morey would trade for Markieff Morris. He had Marcus and dumped him; he knows about those brothers and what he'd be getting into.

Don't make me go carey on you.ShelC wrote:I think this spells everything out.In this case what I would say is that Markieff has tunnel vision or selective memory. He actually took a pretty modest contract to be here, which in isolation is very nice of him and seems to show loyalty to this team and this city. But I think he feels that he took a discount and only signed at that price because we were also signing his brother. I think he feels like the unspoken agreement was that we'd keep the two Morrii for the duration of that deal, or at the very least, if we were going to trade one, we'd trade them as a package.
So in a way, I can see why he's so upset to be separated from his twin brother again. But he's ignoring all of the other things that happened this past season on and off the court. He and (especially) his brother were trouble-makers and jerks.

I'm with you, Marcus.Marcus Morris says that "as far as I'm concerned, I never was a Phoenix Sun."

I can say I prefer LAL pick + IT3 to Knight + Cle 2016 pick, but that's it.Indy wrote:I know I am in the minority, but if we already decided we had to trade Goran, and we knew we weren't bringing back Green, there is no reason to trade IT. And to be fair, it basically led to a $14M/year Knight...Ring_Wanted wrote:I can say I prefer LAL pick + IT3 to Knight + Cle 2016 pick, but that's it.Indy wrote:I know I am in the minority, but if we already decided we had to trade Goran, and we knew we weren't bringing back Green, there is no reason to trade IT. I wish someone would stab the Morris twins in the eye with a dick. Repeatedly.
Have I ever mentioned how much I HATE the Morris twins?

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Somebody here mentioned IIyasova as well. I personally don't know anything about him.

I think we can do ALOT better than Ilyasova. Unless Detroit wants to throw in an unprotected 1st next year, it's not even close to a deal we should do.

C'mon, AIG. You don't need to sugarcoat it. You're among friends. Go with your emotions.AmareIsGod wrote:I wish someone would stab the Morris twins in the eye with a dick. Repeatedly.

Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...
Re: Suns News: The Offseason (2015)
Kevin Pelton's suggested trade partners:
Celtics: F Perry Jones, F/C Jared Sullinger, F/G James Young, possible draft considerations
(also mentions T. Zeller or Olynyk instead of Sullinger)
Hornets: G Brian Roberts, PF Cody Zeller
Lakers: G Jabari Brown, F Ryan Kelly, PF Julius Randle
Blazers: PF Noah Vonleh
Raptors: PF Patrick Patterson
I'd be good with just about any of these options. I kind of really like the Cody Zeller option. Randle doesn't seem realistic.

Randle would be incredible but just won't happen. I'm intrigued by Vonleh.
I just don't want to get bogged down with mid range talent on mid to long term deals.
Once Markieff goes who will be the longest tenured Sun?

“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”
