He needs to change his Twitter handle.

Dude, I was thinking the same thing. I just posted that at RealGm.OE32 wrote:Looks bigger than I remembered from the highlight vids.
Bender looks bigger than I thought. What's his weight right now and how does it compare to Porzingis? KP looks super skinny to me and Dragan looks fit and ready to put on weight.

@DBender$10,000 maybe?Cap wrote:He needs to change his Twitter handle.
Yes.SDC wrote:why would anybody want to build around russell westbrook? does he make anybody better? does he really make his team better?
I would say no. He's an incredible talent, but I think his decision-making and shooting is too erratic to win it all as a team's best player.Wally_West wrote:Yes.SDC wrote:why would anybody want to build around russell westbrook? does he make anybody better? does he really make his team better?

Edit: I would say he clearly makes a team better; he vaults you to playoff contention. I just think with a guy like Westbrook, he has a ceiling, and I'm not sure what is going to take to overcome it.
So you'd take him just to trade him?Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:I would compare him to Allen Iverson. Incredibly talented but you have to structure your whole team around him because he's such a freaking ballhog. I don't like his game but I would take him just because he's a more valuable asset by far than anything we have on our current team. I don't think a title winner can ever be built around him, though.
Yup. The world loves Curry, who himself takes terrible shots and over dribbles all the time, but it's ok, because he's Steph. Westbrook is somehow made out to be this terrible teammate who only cares about himself, it's stupid.ShelC wrote:I think some are letting their personal feelings about Westbrook affect their evaluation of him. He's a monster and I'd take him everyday and put the right pieces around him.
Heck, the same could be said about anyone, including the almighty Jordan.Split T wrote:The thunder were incredibly close to winning the title this year. To say you can't build a title winning team around Westbrook is just false. Had Thompson not caught fire in game 6, I think the thunder win the title. I would have had them as favorites this year had Durant returned.
If the statement is Westbrook can't win a title as the only star, I guess that's true, but the same could be said about LeBron.
Absolutely. I am willing to gamble and trade him if I have Durant or Curry, but unless that's the case, he is the next best thing and if possible you add him and then work to put the right pieces around.ShelC wrote:I think some are letting their personal feelings about Westbrook affect their evaluation of him. When players become stars we tend to focus on what they can't do as opposed to what they can do. Westbrook isn't perfect, he turns the ball over a lot and shoots way too many 3's, but he's impossible to guard in transition and driving to the hoop. He's not a pure point, but 10 assists a game can't be ignored. He's definitely in the mold of marbury or Steve Francis, but he's the Jordan of scoring point guards. Marbury is Jerry stackhouse.ShelC wrote:I think some are letting their personal feelings about Westbrook affect their evaluation of him.
