What a massive shit show it'll be if goes beyond the draft.

Just gotta get a good deal. While it would be ideal to get a great deal soon, it is more important to do a good deal than a quick deal.

I have zero faith we’re getting a good return on this. It’s a rental and no one smart is giving up their future for KD. We were stupid and way over paid for him thanks to moronic GMs devaluing draft picks in other trades. I still think OKC could be a landing spot for him if they lose and we’re prob now waiting for that.

Oh, we're definitely getting fleeced due to KD's age and the totally incompetent management structure we have in place from the owner down.

Ideally we need to make the trade before the draft so we have some clarity around the gaps we need to fill / whether it's worth trying to move up to address those etc.

Sadly, knowing us, we'll wait to make the trade, draft someone really underwhelming who doesn't fill a need and send KD to OKC for 'cash considerations'

IMO the whole "Ware isn't tough enough" nonsense is just being leaked by the Suns FO to try to raise Miami's offer. "You guys should be grateful we are taking Ware! He isn't even that good!" I don't think anybody is falling for it; everybody likes Ware so far.

A little suspicious that it’s just the local guys reporting it. Perhaps the Suns are just trying to get teams to think it’s close so they’ll re-engage and increase their offers?

I think you’re right…. However if nothing gets done this will blow up badly in their face.

I’m sure the NBA does not want it leaking before at least late Monday, so the championship can dominate the media for at least 24 hours before the KD circus starts up.

It's too bad the media consists of people who don't even like the sport.
