Can’t feel too bad for Toronto. I’m sure they’re glad to have a championship. I would be.
Yeah, but looks like a bittersweet taste. Kawhi could have been a folk hero there and chose to just walk, leaving the franchise in deep trouble to remain seriously competitive.
Dudes weird.

Wait, I'm confused. Why did OKC *receive* draft picks when they gave up one of their best players? Aren't they supposed to send out draft picks to get rid of a player??

He will either take our 4/48 or be playing on the QO.
Just give him a fair offer and move on. I don’t want him playing on the QO.
Agreed. $12 million a year seems low. $15 million/yr is fair.

A sign and trade would be nice too...

Clippers still have Beverley, Shamet, Lou Williams, montrezl Harrell, and they got mo Harkless. They also still have Zubac’s bird rights I believe
Yep. The Clippers still have a lot to surround Leonard and George. They really have a great team assembled. This is the culmination of two seasons shrewd moves and getting great value. Their front office has been tremendous.

Clippers gave up our Miami pick in the trade!
That pick got us Bridges, Philly Tobias, and now LA Paul George. Of course more and more assets had to be included as it went down the line.

I’m curious what happens with Westbrook now...they gotta trade him, right?

Would Detroit or Miami be interested?
Miami doesn't have the assets, and a Butler/Westbrook combo seems doomed for failure. Detroit could work.

Minnesota, Orlando, or Cleveland could work.

OKC got a ridiculous haul for George. You make that trade 10 times out of 10 if you're the Thunder.
Agreed. Outstanding trade for them. They looked stuck at the end of season, doomed to be a perennial, borderline playoff team that is flirting with the luxury tax every season.

Poor Toronto.
I don't get this. Toronto will be fine. They won a championship*, they have Pascal Siakim, OG Anunoby is coming back, they'll have tons of cap space next year and going forward...I think they are well equipped to rebuild.

I think Cousins to LA is an underrated signing. Cousins was a little slow for the Warriors this season, but he was still getting back to 100% and getting back in shape. He's still a very good offensive center when healthy. I could see him giving them a big contribution for a pretty small price.

I don't like that fit.

It looks like they are looking to play Davis primarily at the 4. He needs to man up and play the 5.

Cousins to Lakers is premised on Boogie playing with Davis at NO.
That sort of worked. Kind of.
But Boogie moves like Rhino, now. Save for one game, he looked like he lost noticeable mobility in the championship series.
If he's happy as a 10th man, it might work.
Might. Maybe. Perhaps...

Will the Knicks finally land a big-time FA in Westbrook?

Lakers loaded at the forward spots, real thin at guard, especially lead guard.

Is Quinn Cook their starting pg? Lebron is going to have a ton of playmaking responsibility for that team. I thought Lebron/AD was great at the 4/5, but with JaVale and DaMarcus, they will be almost exclusively 3/4.

Cook/Green/Lebron/AD/JaVale with
Daniels/KCP/Dudley/Kuzma/Cousins off the bench? Real short on ball handlers.

Not bad, still think they are heavy small forwards that should be playing PF(Lebron, Dudley, Kuzma)

Let's just hope they struggle once again. They still have a dose of knuckleheads <\Barkley>.
