Keep fighting the good fight, FF. I for one appreciate it. All takes can't be doom and gloom but that seems to be the modus operandi around here.
If Ishbia spending money wheelin' and dealin' is enough for a fan, that's fine. I just don't think it needs to turn into the Gloom Police, although we always reach that point on this site.
I feel like we're all eating at a fancy restaurant and the food doesn't taste good, but there is a group telling us we should just appreciate the ambiance.
I think it’s more like we sent the food back and are waiting to see what the next dish tastes like…ya there’s a chance all the food sucks, but the owner is sparing no cost to try and make the food better.
The same recipe is being used. And we've had more than one course.
We haven't even come
close to the main course.

I’ll also remind people that trading Beal for Jimmy also gives us a path out of the 2nd apron for next year.
It gives us a path but will Ishbia take it is the millions of dollars question.

One group can’t see past the bad food they were served already…the other is just optimistic it’s going to get better.
At least some of us are on the same page. I haven't written off the restaurant already based on one luke warm experience.
Coming up next is HIMMET MIGNON
Yummy! I am looking forward to the experience and hoping it doesn't sour too soon.

I'll remember that reminder when I am posting the picture of Ishbia standing over Butler as he signed his $100 million contract extension.
3/110 according to Gambo. Way less than Beal’s current deal.

We will see, but he made a comment last year about being in the 2nd apron for a couple years and then getting out of it…He understands the value of getting out. I won’t be surprised if that Jimmy number comes in at the 35-37 million range where we can get out of the 2nd apron..does mean we will have to add a 3rd year to get him his money.

What about Nurk and 1st for Larry Nance + filler and 3 2nds. Hawks got trade exception, that makes this possible.

If Toronto gets involved, I think we'll see Kelly Olynyk land in Phoenix.

We need his stretch ability, but he is vulnerable on the boards and on D, so it would be ultimately a mixed bag. Additionally, he isn't a spring chicken and has been a little injury prone, so at this point of his career, I'm not sure he carries the same value he once did. Kind of like with Plumlee.

I’ll take that…he’s a very James jones big. I’d rather have my Portis idea, but better than Nurk
