Reed tends to mock closer to #54 but he's a nice player. Good size on the wing, plays D and can shoot. Nothing sexy, but he could easily become a roatation player.

No reason he can't be Danny Green. The 55% on unguarded jumpers is very intriguing. He's going to get open shots in the NBA.

I'm pretty in tune with the draft this year, but I just had a, "wait, who?" moment with Davon Reed. I've honestly never seen him play.

40% from 3, and 7'0" wingspan makes me think he'll stick for at least a short while on those features alone.

I'm with you. I thought I had a good handle on who was available with 32 and Davon Reed was never one of those guys. I could see at 54, but...what do I know. :/

Thanks for the link. I still like his fit next to Booker a lot. Of course, everyone sounds good at draft time, but this is a big defender who can play at his spot now and grow into a bigger role as he matures. Obvs, I wouldn't take him with the 4, but I would be happy to get him + something.
I'd have no problem taking Ntilikina at #4.

I like him, but I think he will still be there as low as 7 or 8. I'd try to at least get cash + him for #4 on draft night. Maybe Len + #4 for #8 and a future protected pic or something.

Is that possible?

What makes you think Ntilikina is going to be better than Smith or Fox, or really any other player available?

I have no idea what's possible, but if I worked in the FO, I would make some calls. Maybe something is out there.

Right. Or Fox. Get at least some cash back and draft Nilikina at a lower starting salary.

If Swanigan, Bell, or Jonah Bolden are on the board when we pick in the 2nd round and McDo DOESN'T pick one of them, it will tell you how little work he put into scouting and how incompetent he is. Davon Reed? Sign him as a FA but you better not waste a pick on him.

What do you guys think of Kuzma? Reminds me a little of Chandler Parsons. I kind of like him.

I wouldn't even consider Smith; just another score first, pound the ball all quantity, no quality player.

I like Fox, but I think Ntilikina has fewer holes in his game and has a better physical profile.

If you can trade down and get him, sure. But I want to be able to get my guy. I think Sacramento, NY, Minnesota, or Dallas could surprise and take him. So I wouldn't want to chance it trying to get cute.

There is something to like and dislike about both.

Tatum is a shot-maker, but I worry about what else he can bring to the table at the pro level. I question his toughness.

Issac looks more like a novelty than a legit prospect. He has above average handle, seems to have good awareness on the offensive end, but I have doubts that it will ever add up to anything substantial at the pro level.

I wouldn't be upset with either, but I can't say either one moves the needle for me.

All the mocks have him in the 50's. I hope Gambo just misunderstood when his name was floated out there. Semi is mocked around 30 so that's ok. Bell and Swanigan could be there though Bell has risen to late 1st in most mocks. There's a tropical storm hitting New Orleans over the next couple days. I may not be around much. If our slack channel is still operative I would request that we all use that on draft night like we did last year.

Is it still up Mori?

NY and Dallas seem to both be after Ntilikina. Minny at 7 is probabaly the lowest you could go and still get him. I'm super intrigued by him, but I just don't know enough. The knock on him is that he's not quick enough to be a primary ball handler. However, I think at worst, he's a great 3-D guy who could play 1-3 and be a secondary ball handler. Would project to be a pretty good backcourt mate with booker if we expect booker to take more of the primary ball handling skills in the future. Haven't seen any indication from management that we're considering him though.

Isn't that who DX has us taking at #32? I don't follow Utah so haven't seen him much. 6'9 with a 7' 0" wingspan. 4 year college player. Didn't shoot the 3 particularly well. I'm still sticking with the group of guys I like.

Brooks, Hart, Semi, Bell, Swanigan, and Bradley.

I've nailed at least 1 pick in each of the last 3 drafts for us. This year is going to be weird and hard to peg with all the moves happening and the draft being so deep though.
