Maybe a small town Brinks truck. He got something, alright. Hey, it's still 2 millllllion dollars. <\Dr. Evil>Maldonado wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 10:11 pmThey really brought out the Brinks truck

That would be a horrible team defensively and those are two players whose attitudes are me-first. I wish they did take a flyerRing_Wanted wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 10:56 pmOrlando seemed like a destination that made sense but apparently nobody wanted him.
It's weird to me that LAL didn't take a flyer on IT and Boogie for 7M combined.
That was 2 years ago. Different landscape now and guys are settling for less money (in some cases a lot less) and/or 1-year contracts. I feel bad for him. He was really, really good for Boston 2 years ago. So good in the clutch that they were calling him "King of the 4th" as a play on Game of Thrones. If anything this illustrates why Booker extended now. I hope IT comes back healthy and makes his money next year where it seems like everyone's a FA and tons of teams will have space.Maldonado wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 10:11 pmThey really brought out the Brinks truck

Faried and Arthur are both expiring contracts, so this doesn’t buy the Nuggets any cap flexibility, unless they’re planning to use it this summer. Somehow I don’t think they’re doing it to pay Alex Len. Is it just about saving the owners some cash? The Bobster wrote: ↑Fri Jul 13, 2018 9:50 amDenver has traded Kenneth Farried, Darrell Arthur and a protected 2019 1st round pick to Brooklyn for Isaiah Whitehead in a salary dump.
I would have been fine with the Suns using their salary cap space this way. (not that I don't like Ariza)
I'm sure it's about the luxury tax.Cap wrote: ↑Fri Jul 13, 2018 10:01 amFaried and Arthur are both expiring contracts, so this doesn’t buy the Nuggets any cap flexibility, unless they’re planning to use it this summer.
