Time: 7:30 pm AZ (6:30 pm PT / 9:30 pm ET)
Place: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA

Here we are. Going up against our hated rivals. Except now we both sport young teams and the two youngest coaches in the Association. Should be a fun one.

Go Suns!!!

"Honestly, we're looking at the big picture and the big picture isn't beating Golden State and then losing Sunday night at home," Los Angeles coach Luke Walton said. "The big picture is we make it really hard on teams that come into Staples Center and get wins, and so far we've had two home games against two really good teams and won both."

I'm really looking forward to playing these jerks. This is another of those games like NOP; this will tell us if were we stand against the bottom of the West.

Who guards Booker? Nobody on the Lakers can defend him. Our bigs will have their hands full of young jumpers. Nance Jr and Randle are both playing very well so far this season.

I'm a big fan of Nance jr. I would trade Len for him in a heartbeat, upside be damned.

Chriss or Ingram - Who's having a better season?

Don't look now, but the Lakers are 3-3 and would be a playoff team if the playoffs started today. I doubt they will be in the top 8 in April, but still, kind of interesting. I guess I'm just acknowledging that they have not yet proven to us that they will be among the bottom of the West.

Looking forward to this one. Through all these years there's still no team whose ass I enjoy kicking more than the hated LA Lakers.

I should have said, 'last season's bottom of the west.'

Hot take question: Does LA's potential resurgence somehow negatively highlight Kobe Bryant's value (or lack of value, in this case) to the Lakers last season? Would they have done better as a team had he retired before last season?

Without question. He really held them back last season, but he also got them Brandon Ingram.

I want to see our young guys (Len, Warren, Booker, Ulis, Chriss, and Bender) outplay their young guys (Randle, Russel, Ingram, Nance Jr. and Clarkson).

Ugh, our Suns are not looking good right now. Suck it up and play better defense.

Man, I get so frustrated with Bledsoe as the PG for this team, then Knight comes in to run the offense and makes me realize how much better we have it with Bledsoe.

Suns 5 made FGs and 5 turnovers so far. Not a great recipe for success

It was 15-12 when AASE came into the game. 23-15 now. The offense just died with him.
