Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP
Two teams with comparable records. One from the East and one from the West. Both playing with pace near the top of the league. I feel another win coming.
Go Suns!!!

Nets have been surprisingly not as terrible as predicted, though still pretty bad. I think we can totally beat these guys; they don't have much firepower, and we have a lot of youth and energy to throw at them. This feels like a W to me.

Can Warren get on track tonight?
In the last two games, he's grabbed an average of 3 rebounds in 34 minutes. Aside from his one great scoring game against OKC, he is shooting 42%(ish) in 8 games. My opinion is that he doesn't do so well when we don't spread the floor and the paint is clogged with bigger players. IIRC, he gets most of his rebounds and a good deal of his easy buckets when we go with him at PF, which we don't do as much of now that Tucker is back.
I'd be curious to see how he would do with Bender and Ulis on the court.

And maybe a little Ulis. (Well, he has no choice. He's small.)

We also have AASE to throw at ourselves.

I'm glad that overall we are being competitive and starting to play the young ones some minutes. Best case scenario, get experience while not being blown out and knowing your progressing. Continue.

Almost All-Star (in the ) East.
It's something that I (think) McDonough started saying to the press when we first acquired Brandon Knight.

Even as recently as last month McD was still using the line.
Of course, when we use it here, it's snark.

The problem was he continued to use that expression well after it's sell-by date. Then it became a bad joke.

Alex Len is looking awful.
Don't go to him on offense. When he gets the ball, good things don't happen.

It's really disturbing to see us force feeding Len so much early on every game. He's not that kind of player. He's just not. It reminds me of Terry Porter and Shaq_Old.

I swear it is like Len is still nervous out there. The only way he ever seems like he is comfortable down there is when he is wide open or when he brings the ball down and collects himself. Only problem is that most of the time when he does bring the ball down it is taken from him. When he keeps it high he just looks like he is uncomfortable and just rushes things. He needs to stop relying on being faster than his defender. This is the NBA they are just as fast as he is.

This first quarter looks like a preseason game. Lots of turnovers, fouls, bad shots. Very few possessions that look like plays.

D Book has missed a couple of easy ones.
Edit: then hits a very tough shot.

Then missed an open corner three. He's looking very mortal.
Not an All-Star yet, but he'll get there someday.

Horrible shooting by both teams in the 1st. And turnovers. Not a defensive contest, just sloppy.
