Wow. I knew we were doing badly, but I didn't realize we could literally have the worst record in the league after this game. Stunning.

And that is after playing the vets much more than we all hoped. I think we need to get into the new year and then clean house, end up winning 20 games this year, and finally get a #1 pick.

I'd settle for the #2 pick. The difference between Fultz and Ball isn't exactly like Robinson and Gilliam.

It's time for us to win the darn lottery for once.

Meanwhile, management (Sarver) sees that the Suns are only 4 games out of the 8th seed and figures if breaks go the right way, Phoenix can be in the playoffs.

Not that I endorse that line of reasoning, but go to any organization where there are layers of management between the BIG BOSS and the employees, and there's usually a disconnect between what's possible and what's mathematically probable.

We really need an 8th team to get going in the west so that 4 games out excuse can go away for good. Portland has been a huge disappointment this year. Some are comparing them to our suns of a few years back. Major surprise 1 year, add too many perimeter players the next that don't fit together and fall off the radar.

Irregardless, being only 4 games back is misleading when there are 7 other teams still ahead of you.

I feel like us fans and the organization settle far to easily and far too often.

And you are only a quarter through the season. At this pace we will be 16 games back at the end of the year. But Management (like Dusty Chap said) usually doesn't see it that way.

The #8 seed is currently 13-18, but there are a lot of teams bunched real close and odds are some of them will improve on that winning percentage in the remainder of the season. It'll probably take about 40 wins to get in. To get there from our current record of 8-21, we would need to go 32-21 the rest of the way. Is there anything we have seen from this team to suggest they are remotely capable of that?

It'll be interesting to see if we hit the over (26.5 wins). I remember a lot of people here saying when the line went up that the over was an obvious bet. I don't know whether anybody here actually put money on it. Does the bet still look good?

(If you put money on it and lose, just think of it as buying a top-eight pick.)

Helluva game so far between two fairly equally matched teams.

Before the game, Leander was talking up Chriss as ROY runner-up to Embiid.

I've seen a number of pundits opine on the rookies, posting top 10 lists. It's not difficult to make the top 10 this year, or even the top two. None of the lists I have seen include Chriss.

Leander is an asshat. I'm not surprised. He probably thinks Bender is 5th.

Booker and Bledsoe a combined 1-7. No coincidence we are down 11.
