I heard Mexico is going to build a new stadium and the US is going to pay for it.

I kid. :)

I heard that we will pay for it, and then bill them later. Clearly that is what you meant all along...

Bone is back from his 1-game Game Day Thread hiatus! Welcome. :-) I came here for the Mexico/wall jokes, and you didn't disappoint. I wonder if anything about that issue will come up during the game.

As for the game itself, presumably the Spurs will absolutely destroy us. Though we are playing the littlest bit better lately, like our recent close loss (MORAL VICTORY!!1) at Cleveland. So maybe we can at least give Mexico an entertaining game.

It will be typical for the Spurs to destroy us, even in a game where we are not playing them.Come Saturday, though...

I was wondering why instead of one or two of their stars weren't playing, but the whole team wasn't going to. We still might lose to them.

Hint: If you read the thread title, you'll know who we're playing. :D

I should not have posted so early; it was a spur of the moment decision. Er, I mean, a maverick of the moment decision.

Silly Suns, things get tough and whats the first thing we do...flee to Mexico

It would be hilarious if we made a trade during the trip
McD: Brandon I've got good and bad news and its the same thing, you've been traded!
Knight: To where?
McD: It doesn't matter, you're Mexico's problem now

What i wouldn't give to see one of those soppy team building posts on the Suns facebook page with an image of all the players and support staff smiling with arms around each other . Headline - "Watson hopes to build chemistry with team trip to illegal Tijuana brothel".
"Its an important part of the process and love. I get a chance to see these kids become men right before my very eyes" - Earl Watson

Anyone think it's weird we are playing in Mexico but it isn't Nationally televised? I know it's two bad teams but it seems odd to me. Is Saturday's?
