This is the first of a home-and-home series. First in Denver and then back to Phoenix for a game on Saturday. Denver is currently 8th in the West. Lots of playoff implications in these games.

Please please let the Suns lose both of these games. I think they won't give up on the playoffs unless that happens. Sorry to be a negative Nancy, but I just really want them to focus on the future and give up this silly talk about playoffs.

We'd be 6.5 games out if we lose both. At 15-32, you'd think management would realize it's time to give up on the playoffs.

I hope we sweep them and are only 2.5 games out of the 8th seed. Would be great growth for our young guys to taste a little success and chase the 8th seed and grow as a team. Imagine if we got that 8th seed and actually won our first series due to momentum and chemistry?

McDonough talking about the next few games
"They're very important, obviously, in determining whether we're a viable team to potentially compete for and get into the playoffs this year or not,” McDonough told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. "If we're within striking distance of the eighth seed at the trade deadline, that will probably help determine our approach. And if we're not, if we're not a viable playoff contender, that will probably determine it the other way. We're kind of open to either direction at this point."

Heard this on the radio. He really meant to say, "We are currently directionless, and I probably won't have a job in May."

Also said it was very unlikely that they move Chandler. I think I'm ok with that. Really just want Knight and Tucker to be moved.

Thats fine, he's had his fair shot I'd say. Aside from Booker, this team feels about the same as it did before he took over, nowhere to go but up.

Agreed, but everything except Booker needs to be available.

Yeah. I called his hiring before it was even announced he was interviewing so I kind of feel attached to him in a way. In my opinion he's done a fine job of finding late lottery talent and keeping our cap space in tact. We just have a bunch of pieces that don't fit together. At some point you have to stop accumulating assets on a spreadsheet and put a product out on the court that plays like a basketball team. That's where he has failed. It also hurts that 2 of the 3 trade deadline deals two years ago were among the worst moves of the last few years by any GM. He was in a tight spot and panicked, and that ultimately will lead to him being let go.

Imagine if we got that 9th seed and actually won our first lottery due to the Fates finally feeling sorry for us or me?

I'd move Chriss, Bender, and Bledsoe all at once if it nets us AD. *drools*

I'd give more than that and I can guarantee you it would take more than that.

Yeah, but how many back taps does Chandler have?
