Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

These teams are evenly matched and all three of the previous games have gone down to the wire with the first two going to OT. That said, we are at an advantage tonight as the Pelicans played and lost Sunday night in Sacramento.

Go Suns!!!

The Suns have a pretty dismal team and overall situation. But it might be even worse to be one of these teams like NO or Sacramento, who have a single superstar stud player but cannot find any way to put any other talent around him, and now are in a slow death spiral, terrified that this player will leave their team. I feel like once we get our Anthony Davis or Boogie Cousins, we'll have the wherewithal to put a good team around him and keep him happy.

Have you guys heard the rumor that we could be sending Bledsoe to Sac so that he can play with Cousins? I don't even know what they have that we would be happy with in return, nor can I verify this rumor at all. I thought I heard Doug and Wolf talking about it this morning.

We've been hearing that rumor for years.

What exactly would Sacramento send us, if not Boogie? The Suns actually seem to like Bledsoe, and he's having the best overall season of his career. We aren't dumping him in SAC for some Willie Caulie-Stein garbage.

That's a damn good question. They don't really have anything that looks good. Possibly a number of draft picks and ...

I'm all for trading Bledsoe and getting a 3rd team involved. He's eligible for the super max after next season. Blech.

Hopefully the kids get some more burn tonight. I'm good with Chandler sitting out until further notice.

I'd like to see Derrick Jones get some real time.

I don't even think Sacramento has the rights to all of their draft picks. Don't see how a trade their would work at all.

Edit: Just looked it up, If Sacramento's pick this year falls outside the top 10, it goes to Chicago. If it's in the top 10, Philly has the option to switch picks with them. Also, they owe their 2019 1st round pick to Philly. So the earliest pick they could trade would be 2021. Assuming they land in the top 10, not guaranteed, I guess they could trade whatever pick they end up with between them and Philly.

Would y'all do this trade:

Bledsoe and Tucker to Chicago for Rondo, Valentine, 2017 top 10 protected 1st(via Sacramento) and 2019 Bulls 1st.

The Kings pick is the problem, if the Kings land in the top 10, they send their 2017 2nd round pick instead. Trade only works in my mind if we're getting a 2nd lottery pick. Kings are currently 10th, they'd have to pass one of Miami, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Portland, Denver, Detroit, or Chicago.

I think Chicago's a good trading partner for us, but more to unload Knight and Tucker. Something like Knight+Tucker for Rondo+1 asset (we then waive Rondo).

Ya, that would be a good move. I've just recently jumped on the We need to trade Bledsoe train and have been brainstorming possible spots. I was never opposed to trading Bledsoe, but I think right now is our best chance to get value for him.

Would Bledsoe and Tucker to New Orleans for Jrue Holiday and their 2017 1st make sense?

Jrue is slightly younger than Bledsoe, but he is a free agent after this season, so we'd have to pay him.

Too little (and I like Valentine) and/or messy. That Sacto pick makes things unnecessarily complicated. If the Bulls really want to pony up for Bledsoe, they could offer their 2017 and 2019 picks. But note that Paxon and Forman never trade picks midseason.

I think NOP is happy with Jrue when he gets to stay on the court. Carey probably can give us some info on this.

It makes sense. Bledsoe is our best player. We should trade him right away.

I've given up all hope of Bledsoe being moved, he's always been McD's show pony, he will live and die with him.

I am guessing you were being sarcastic. Wasn't Marbury our best player back in the day?
